Your Challenge Cards

Good Morning Ladies,

We all had a lovely day at Ally Pally yesterday, I spent more than I intended and got a lovely selection of craft goodies that I can't wait to share with all of you, I can't wait to see what the others got too!

Paul and I are leaving for London today, we have afternoon tea at the place we had our first afternoon tea about 2 years ago, its the Amba Hotel near Marble Arch, it was delicious, we bought a voucher for it before Christmas but couldn't get booked, we almost forgot about it until Paul remembered the other day.
We are staying in London for two nights, we found a Hotel on Secret Escapes, it was such a bargain, they show you a photo of the bedrooms but won't disclose the details of the hotel until you have booked and confirmed, I got them to check that it was 'Accessible' and while I was waiting for him to call me back, I found the hotel (after a bit of detective work) it was the Hilton on Souhtampton Row, we walked past it from the President hotel on the way into Covent Garden, I was less than the price of 1 night at the other hotel for 2 nights at this one.  We then decided that we would use some of our Christmas money from Paul's parents to book a show, we eventually decided on 'Phantom of the Opera, on Monday night and got two seats for the price of one!
So our afternoon tea, show and hotel cost less than our hotel did last time!! We love a bargain!!

Now onto your cards, you have all done an amazing job again this week...…

Michele

Michele has made a beautiful collection of cards for this weeks challenge, 5 in total, I absolutely love this modern style of Easter card, I will add Michele's Description Below:

"Challenge cards-Yellow/Diecut/Flowers & Yellow/Ribbon/Dry Embossing. Papers & toppers are from the latest issue of Making Cards magazine."

Thanks Michele for such a beautiful collection of cards. XXX

Karen

Three absolutely amazing cards from Karen for this weeks challenge...…

Card 1: This one is pink/polka dots/flower

Card 2: This card was made from a piece I was starting to do but managed to rip the card removing it from die Hence the strip of card made with SW bow dies and letters Birthday stuck onto it I used a DO background
Fits quite a few of the challenge flowers/die cut/pink or blue

Last one is a blended DO background embellished with flower die cuts from JL and X-cuts
Yellow or pink/die cuts/flowers

Thank you so much Karen for three fantastic cards, your Oxide Blending is amazing!! XXX

Margaret

Margaret has used her favourite 'Every Craft's a Pound' Paper pad for her challenge card this week,
it is so pretty, has some beautiful pastel shades in the set, the floral papers are so pretty too.
Margaret has used Categories:  Polka Dots/Pink/Ribbon

Thank you so much Margaret for making such a pretty card for this weeks challenge, I hope that you get to rest and recover today my lovely. XXX

Lynda

Lynda has used that beautiful Doily Die that she bought from Ebay and shared with us yesterday,
Lynda used the flourish die that she bought to emboss into the Polka Dot paper, then added some Sue Wilson flowers to her card, that beautiful Doily die is the main focus of the card.  The whole card works perfectly Lynda.
Lynda used categories: Blue/Polka Dots/Dry Embossing

Thank you so much for sharing your card with us. XXX

Maria

Maria has used her Sue Wilson 'Vivian' die to create this gorgeous Birthday card for this weeks Challenge.
Maria says that she has had this paper pack for a good while but hadn't used any, I love these colours Maria, the are very trendy at the moment, there are lots of clothes this colour in the shops too.
Categories: Shade of Yellow/Floral/Die cut

Thank you so much Maria for creating such a lovely card, I hope you have a lovely rest day today too. XXX

Brenda

Two absolutely stunning cards from Brenda for this weeks challenge, the first is in such beautiful shades of Yellow and Grey, a match made in heaven.  Brenda made 3 perfectly matching roses with ribbon to decorate the card.  I believe that Brenda has used the Venice Lace die that she shared with us in yesterdays blog post, I love that perfect stitched edge that it gives.
Brenda used Categories:  Shades of Yellow/Polka Dots/flowers

Brenda's second card again features the Venice Lace die from Spellbinders (its an Amazing Paper Grace Spellbinder die).   Brenda I have to ask if you made that beautiful green panel yourself, I love it, what a perfect base for that pretty spray of pink roses.  A simple die cut 'Happy Birthday' is all that is needed to finish this card perfectly.
Brenda thank you so much for sharing your stunning cards with us XXX

Janet

Janet has created 3 absolutely incredible cards for this week's Challenge,  all of them are stunning.

For my First card I used Eboss/Die Cut/Flowers/Pink/Ribbon/Polka Dot

2 For my second card I used Eboss/Die Cut/Pink/Blue/Flowers

3 For my third card I used Blue/ribbon/Die Cut/sequins

Thank you so much Janet for three stunning cards XXX

Val has made a fantastic 'Anniversary card for this weeks TicTacToe Challenge card,  she used Categories:  Polka Dots/Shades of Blue/Die cut

Thank you so much Val for such a lovely card, this one will fly off the shelf at the shop! XXX

  3. Morning Ladies

Sandra-great challenge this week & lots of lovely cards on display.
You certainly did get s bargain-hope you both enjoy your trip to London.

I had a nice morning with my Dad helping him alter some scenes on his model train layout. Quick lunch then we went off to see my Father in Law. He was quite bright & reasonably chatty although he was clearly tired as his speech wasn’t great. We watched the horse racing from Aintree with him. I’m hoping to find some time today to go into my craft room to have a play.
