Today's card is another challenge card for this weeks TicTacToe, is used Categories: Thanks/Blue/Floral.
The background I made using Broken China Distress Oxide, I then used a mask and added some texture to the background with the same colour ink. I then took Honey Doo 'Spring Flowers' Stamps and matching dies, stamped them onto some paper that our lovely friend Anne at 'A crafty Place' gave me to try, its called 'Ice White Paper' and it enables you to stamp and shape your flowers like a dream. I stamped the flowers several times and coloured them with different mediums, the leaves and blue flowers are Distress Pens, pink flowers are Melon Mambo ink Stampin UP. The yellow flowers were the Memento Dew drop inks. I wanted something bright, cheerful and vibrant,
I arranged the flowers and foliage around the left hand side of the card, leaving space for the die cut sentiment which is the Thank you, which is die cut from Melon Mambo card and layered onto black card to give a little shadow.
I finished the flower centres with some black gems and added 3 to the top right hand side of my card.
I hope it brightens your day.
I am hoping to see Sue today, it has been a very quiet couple of days in our house as the girls have been working, so I will be really glad of the company.
I hope that you have a lovely day however you are spending it,
Love and hugs to all,
Sandra

Morning Everyone
ReplyDeleteIt's still dull and cold here and no sign of the warmer weather the forecasters said would arrive by the middle of this week. Fingers crossed it will arrive in time for the week-end.
SANDRA- a very bright and cheerful card for us this morning.
Not sure what's happening today; I know I want to get my CC done or nearly finished so hopefully that will happen.
The CAFE is OPEN and waiting for you all to drop in for a cuppa and a chat.
HUGS are on their way to you all with loads of extras for Dear Friends not feeling too well. Take care and stay safe xxxx

Hello Sandra & ladies
ReplyDeleteSANDRA I love your card this morning. It's beautiful
I've just got back home from Margaret with a few goodies just some chalk paints & new ink pads & new pack of spectrum Noir shades of blue pen's. Oh & a new glue gun.
She still has so much stash two seats from the settee is piled high & all the floor beside the settee is stacked up. Her little bedroom is full to the brim.
She is sorting out so I said don't throw anything away I will have it because that's what she was going to do. It's been a beautiful day with sunshine & really warm. Got all washing dry ready to iron tomorrow. Then Tesco Shopping too. Well that's the plan. Better get some dinner having a salad so won't take long.
Hug's all round extra if needed
Love Lynda xx

Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely bright and cheerful card, this will certainly brighten up someone’s day. Hope Sue made it over today and you managed to do some crafting. xx
I had a lovely day with my sister yesterday, after lunch we got down to some crafting, the time just flew by, it was tea time before we knew it and after I had said my good byes to everyone it was time to catch my train home.
Today I have been for the Scan for my frozen shoulder, I should get the results in about a week, 🤞.
Hugs for everyone, Brenda xxx
