Michele that Embossing folder is amazing, so much delicate floral detail.  Thank you so much for taking part Michele xxx

Margaret

Margaret has made three amazing cards for our 'Shades Of' Challenge this week.....

Card 1: Shades of Lilac, Margaret had used a beautiful floral paper as the inspiration for her card, matting and layering with darker shades of lilac/purple to compliment that pretty paper.

Card 2:  Shades of 'Peach/Beige', Margaret used the same paper as in the card above, it is such a pretty paper that the sentiment is all that is needed, papers that beautiful need to be the main focus of the card.

Card 3:  Shades of Green, this card is for 'Little Christoper's 4th Birthday, how can he be 4 already!!! Margaret has used an amazing Tractor stamp for Christopher's card, what little boy doesn't love tractors!! My little boy still does and he is way of 6ft and 26 years old, lol 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you Margaret for 3 fantastic Challenge cards xxx

Three absolutely beautiful cards Janet, you are such an inspiration, you come up with so many beautiful designs week after week, thank you so much for taking part my lovely xxx

Sue

Sue has chosen 'Shades of' Red for our challenge this week, making a stunning Christmas card,
Sue has die cut a beautiful snowflake out of red glitter card to use as the main focus of the card,
the base is made using a Kraft card base with a red card mat, Sue has added some hessian ribbon that has pretty red snowflakes on, (which I am guessing may have been the inspiration for the card).
A fantastic Christmas card Sue, thank you so much for taking part in this weeks challenge, although I have to ask...am I going mad or where you cutting Blue snowflakes on Wednesday??? 😕🤣xxx

This card, used shades of blue.
Papers, coordinations.
Embossing folder is an old one, no name on it.
Stamp is one of my old favourite, came from QVC many many years ago, red rubber on black foam.
Ink is another favourite, night of navy.

Thank you so much Lilian for a truly beautiful challenge card, I can understand why that stamp is one of your favourites, it is beautiful. xxx

Pat has chosen 'Shades Of' Blue for her challenge card this week, (I love saying that Pat)!!!
Pat has made one of her amazing 'Groovi' cards is lovely shades of blue, the design is made to fit the lovely frame that is designed by the lady that runs the 'Groovi' club.  I love that scooter image Pat, it would make a great 'teen' card for both males and females.

Val

Val has chosen 'Shades Of' Green for her challenge card this week, her card is made with a green base card with a beautiful embossed white layer, the layers repeat and the card is topped with a pretty green flourish. What a beautiful way to send a ''Just to Say'' card, it would certainly make somebodies day when this card drops on their mat!

WOW once again I've had to ask for the extra boards to be brought out of the cupboard.
So many beautiful cards; themes and colours and an abundance of inspiration.

I have to admit I've haven't made a start for this week but I love the Challenge and will get my thinking cap on probably tomorrow.

  2. Morning Ladies

What an absolutely amazing selection of challenge cards today. I just wish I’d had more time as I’d like to have madebs Christmas card too.

Lovely evening yesterday with my Dad, brother & his wife. They were late leaving so I’m late up this morning.

I had a fun day yesterday in my craft room and I’ve made my challenge cards for next week. We braved it out yesterday (late morning) and walked into the village-hubby’s golf competition was cancelled due to the Gale force winds. Then I was straight back into my craft room!

Housework this morning then we’re hoping to walk down to the beach.

Lovely cards again this week, my photo is very poor, it’s much lighter in the hand.

I watched both yours and Kay’s videos tonight, gosh what super things you made for Kay, must have taken you both hours.

Not done much today, sleet and hail showers all day.

Will have a look at next weeks prompt tomorrow and hope some inspiration comes.
