Another Project Finished !!

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well, we have had a bit of a miserable start to the week weather wise, feels chilly too.  It makes it easier to sit in your craft room though, as you don't feel guilty about doing other jobs.

I sat and looked through my 'Project Half done' box and I had Stamped this very Majestic Stag from the Dashing Deer Stamp set, I have zoomed in for a close up of how beautifully it stamped, the pattern is actually on the stamp, I stamped it in Tranquil Tide ink.
The background is made using the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper with a piece of Merry Merlot card that I ran through the 'Subtle' embossing folder, the effect is stunning, it gives you a soft 'Linen' look to your card.  I placed the two pieces down and added a piece of Tranquil Tide Ruffled Ribbon with a piece of 1/8 inch Gold ribbon on top. The plaque for the deer was made using the Layering Oval dies, cut in gold and Merry Merlot.
The sentiment was stamped in Tranquil tide and die cut, I coloured some pearls with a Stampin'Blend, so that it matched the card.
I hope you like my card.

How are you all doing with the challenge, I can't wait to see the variety of projects that you all send in, you wouldn't guess what Karen's is in a million years, all I will say is it's not a card !!

More rifling though the Project half done box for me today, as well as a bit of craft room tidy up, how does it get so messy??!

I hope that you all have a lovely day,

Love and Hugs to all,

Sandra

  2. Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today. Third attempt, fingers are off on their own at the moment!
What a card. The stamp used on the stag is so crisp and clear. And I love the pretty paper and finally the gorgeous ruffled ribbon. All in all a beautiful card. Good luck with the tidying, even though you know it will look just as bad again by the end of the day just like mine and most other people’s will 😏 x
Brenda, it’s good to hear you can get to rest and have some “me” time now x
    Lilian, sending hugs x
Cheryl and Karen, migraines are horrid aren’t they. Like you Cheryl mine started at puberty, I will get Chris to try the big toe massage, he did once manage to find a spot on the edge of one of my feet that made me feel the pain flow down through my body and out of my toes which was the strangest feeling but fantastic too, I also didn’t have the usual “spaced out” feeling afterwards that I usually get. Sadly he has never managed to find the same spot again but I will certainly get him to try your big toe top. It certainly won’t be able to male the pain any worse and fingers crossed it will help so thank you for the tip x
Pat, hope the hands not too sore x
Crafting for me today after my annual health/meds review with the doctor.
Hope the day is good for you all. Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for all in need. Take care xx

    1. I hope the review goes well Mention the migraines These days some GP’s can refer you to “alternative remedies” eg massage If Chris found a spot, maybe a therapist can and then he can reinforce it - did that make any sense....

    1. Hi Val
I do hope that your sciatica will be a bit better tomorrow. But it can take awhile to go can’t it. Gentle hugs coming your way. I’m afraid they’ve decided that Pete is to ill to have any chemo. It wouldn’t be of much help and it would make him feel a lot worse than he is now. So he’s now under the care of the Macmillan nurses were already seeing. They can liaise with Oncology, and our Dr.

  8. Afternoon Sandra and everyone.
What a change in the weather, today OH had to scrape the car windows so must been cold. Unfortunately we will have warmer and rain again tomorrow.
Lovely card Sandra, beautiful stag. You did trick me tho with having Monday at the top, so wish it was true.
Haven't had a moment free yet to make any crafting. It was the dreaded word first thing and then I have been sitting here writing Christmas cards and I do write a bit extra for the ones at home (sweden) I haven't seen for a long time so it takes a while to write them but I can see the end. Lol
    Pat- thinking of you both.
    Sue- hope you alright.
Margaret- good luck with the exercises, gently does it.
    Cheryl- thinking of you too.
Janet- have fun at K&N , enjoy the day.
Sending many hugs to you all and extras for you who need some . Love Maria xxx

Sorry late the day just seems to go so quickly before I know it it's time to start dinner. 10. Hello Sandra and ladies,
What an inspiration you are Sandra, Another beautiful challenge card. I haven’t been into my craft room this week to go through my PhD box, must try and get in there tomorrow. I have spent the afternoon going through some of the items we are storing for my sister, trying to condense things down and get some order as most was put int bags or bin liners. I have been sorting and reorganising. At least the room looks les of a tip now, It should all be gone in a couple of weeks.... hopefully!
Sending love and hugs to everyone, Love Brenda xxx
