Monday Tictactoe challenge

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well and ready for the week ahead.

It was a bit of a shock when I realised while at Ally Pally that I hadn't thought about today's challenge!! I thought  that i would be able to do when I got home, as the show finished at 4pm, that soon changed though as there had been an accident on one of the roads which caused huge tailbacks.
So I was sat in the car frantically tryng to find something to challenge you with.
I decided on a TicTacToe, they are so versatile and can be used for so many occasions.

I thought that this particular one would be good for Christmas cards particularly but there are plenty of categories to use for non Christmas cards too.
I might use some of the new things I bought yesterday.   So excited to sit and craft.

My card uses categories: Snowflakes/Sparkle or Shine/Punch or Die Cut
I went diagonal for this challenge card.
I used the Brand New Stampin'Up 'Blizzard Thinlit die' to die cut my topper (it die cuts the whole lot in one go!!) Plus you have a pile of different snowflakes as well. I added mounting foam onto the back and placed it onto a Balmy Blue card base, that I had added a piece of double sided tape to and covered with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, which gave the snowflakes sparkle!
I then stamped my sentiment from the stamp set that goes with the die...Beautiful Blizzard.

Beautiful Blizzard Bundle
(Buy both and save 10%)

Ally Pally was lovely, very quiet, we didn't have any trouble getting a table for lunch, there weren't many of us to find seats for though, we weren't short of conversation though.  It was lovely catching up with Lynda, Terry and Margaret (who i havent seen since May!

I want to share with you all a gem of a Craft shop, unbelievably good prices, absolutely lovely couple too, they started their craft shop in May this year, well worth supporting  ......

'A Crafty Place' is their name, the owner is a lovely lady called Anne.
Their Website  link:

If you make a purchase tell them I sent you (it might benefit us soon)!!

Right I am off into my craft room, have a great day ladies,

Lots of love and hugs,

Sandra

  1. Morning Ladies

Great challenge for us this week Sandra & a really lovely Christmas card.

Had a very lazy day (for me) yesterday. Had a sort out in my craft room and have a large bag yo gk to the charity shop on Saturday. After torrential rain all morning yesterday afternoon turned out lovely so we went for a walk which was a nice change as it’s usually gardening on a Sunday afternoon.

Can’t wait to see what everyone bought at Ally Pally.

  2. Good morning Everyone
A lovely Challenge for this week and I predict that all the extra boards will be needed on Sunday.

Also a beautiful card as our inspiration SANDRA.

We too had torrential rain yesterday morning but it had cleared by the time we needed to go to Thomas's bday party.
All the children had a really good time with no fall outs or arguments. It's so lovely to see so many 5-8yr olds playing together as they should without any upsets. We were back by 18.00hrs and had a very peaceful night tele watching though by 22.00hrs I was very tense after watching the latest espisode of 'The Body Guard'. I still haven't worked out who really is the real 'baddy' lol.

Well it's Mr Tesco this morning and the start of gloss paint smell all over the house. This is the biggest job as we have 6doors to be painted on the landing; the left hand rail/stair steps; skirting boards etc. Thankfully the downstairs doors are all varnished.

The CAFE is OPEN as usual and the fridge is stocked for the week so pop in when you can. HUGS should be arriving with you all very shortly.xxxx
