Graceful Glass Card Number 3

Good Morning Ladies,

Today's card is the third card I made from just one panel of the Graceful Glass Vellum from Stampin'Up! I chose to colour this one in Real Red, I used a mixture of Watercolour Pencils and Stampin'Blend! Alcohol Markers, The sentiment if from the 'Dandelion Wishes' stamp set, stamped onto real red card in versamark and then covered with White embossing powder. I then die cut this with the Layered Oval thinlits and cut a mat of white with a Scalloped Oval from the same set.  I punched a hole in the top and pushed some 1/8 Real Red Ribbon and Some Polka Dot Tulle through the hole. I coloured a tiny resin flower with Real Red Stampin Blend and added some leaves and pooped this on the bottom of my sentiment tag.  Once again I used the Tufted Embossing Folder for the background, I added a layer of both the Dotted Tulle and Real Red ribbon to the card and placed my sentiment tag on top.
I hope you like my card. xx

We had a lovely beach day on Sunday, Paul and I set off for the beach at about 9;30 as it was so sunny, the others followed us down at about half ten, as it's quieter here this time of year we got a spot on the beach quite close the camp site, literally 5 mins walk if that.  We stayed on the beach until about 4:30pm and then made our way back to get ready to pop into Pals the 'Old Town' with its Bell Tower being the last remaining piece of the 9th Century Castle.  The girls did some shopping and took some lovely photos. We finished the day off at the same restaurant that we went to on my birthday, we had a lovely meal and were all so full we got home and fell into bed!  A perfect day for all of us.

I hope you all enjoyed Michele's 'Sparkly' Challenge this week and I can't wait see all of your cards.

Have a lovely day my dear friends,

Love and hugs to all

Sandra

  2. Morning Everyone
We are starting the day with rain and it's definitely much cooler than yesterday. I found it very difficult weatherwise as it was so muggy all day.

SANDRA- I do love those panels and your choice of colour is so pretty.

Starting to strip the paper off the bottom half of the stairs etc today so I'll be somewhat shattered by lunchtime.

The CAFE is OPEN and ready for you all today. HUGS are winging their way to you all with loads of extras for Dear Friends not feeling too good at the moment.xxxx

  4. Hi ladies,
Very pretty card Sandra. Just love the panel and the beautiful rich red.
Sounds like you're having such a lovely family holiday.x

Just got back from having my nails done and then taking Olive yet again to the vets. She has an abcess on her back that's burst and she had to have it packed yesterday and today and we'll be back again there tomorrow. What with me visiting the nurse and her the vet I really just can't fit in any housework this week ha ha.

Anyway Lynn's telling me lunch is ready.
    Hugs to all.
    Valx

  6. Hello All, I have been trying to leave a message for some days, but for some unknown problem they would not publish.

Sandra lovely card and as Brenda said that red is such a lovely colour.

Michele great challenge for this week, do love a bit of sparkle.

Very warm and windy here so my two loads of washing will dry nice and fluffy.

Keeping it short, so blogger lets me publish. Hugs to all, Lilian

Janet, it is so frustrating when you have to "pace yourself" isn't it but it sounds like you are being sensible. Take care x
Val, I'm sorry to hear that Oliver is poorly again. I'm sure the vets bills are not cheap, but our pets are worth every penny, or euro in your case. I hope your eye and leg are feeling a bit better today. Healing hugs on their way to you X
Lynda, how are your feet feeling today. I hope they let you get some decent sleep tonight. Have you tried putting them on CU back so he can share your pain. Only teasing Terry. I really do hope they are not as painful as they have been Lynda. Love to you both xx
Maria, I hope you haven't had any more funny turns. How are your Mum and Dad?
    Hugs for you x
