Good Sunday Morning Ladies,
I hope that you are all well and enjoying your Sunday morning, we have a nice relaxed one for a change, I think that this is the first Sunday that Paul hasn't worked since we got back from holiday, which seems like months ago. So we will be making the most of it, although we are dog sitting for Mat's Border Collie pup, who is quite a handful.
Now onto your amazing challenge cards.......
Lilian, I love the paper that you have used for your challenge card, the panel that you have stamped for the top of your card works so well with the papers. That bird is stamp is so detailed, your card has a real 'autumnal' look. Thanks so much for taking the time, especially after your busy week xxx
Lynda, your card has a real 'autumnal' look too, I love the clever way you have used the crocheted lace to divide your card and that zipper rose is the perfect finishing touch. Thank you so much for taking part Lynda xxx
Margaret, a real frosty looking Christmas card from you this week, that snowflake patterned paper you have used is so pretty, Using the stickles (glitter glue) to write your sentiment is such a fantastic idea. Thank you so much for taking part Margaret xxx
Maria, oh I love your card, the owls are just adorable and so is your sentiment. so thoughtful.
The pretty flowers and bow finish your card perfectly. Thank you so much for taking part, I hope that your leg is less painful and you are enjoying your weekend away. xxx
Val, stunning papers on your challenge card, that subtle 'watermark snowflake' effect on the bottom paper you have used is lovely, complimented perfectly with the metallic stars on the contrast paper,
your snowflake is STUNNING,I love it Val, is it a die cut? the brad in the centre looks like a Tim Holtz style embellishment. Thank you so much for taking part this week Val xxx
I am off to work on tomorrow's sketch, enjoy your Sunday ladies.
Janet, huge hugs on route to you my dear friend xxxx
Love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra

Good Morning Sandra and all,
ReplyDeleteLove all your cards today. Everyone's done a great interpretation as usual. I really enjoyedmaking this card this week and Iit's a great sketch to use in the future. The snowflake is a Tonic one. I don't use it very often as it's a devil of a die to cut and needs quite a few shims and passes through my cutting machine.
Hope the puppy sitting goes well Sandra. I bet he or she is a handful.
Nothing much going on today. A bit of housework and a lot of crafting I think.
Hope everyone is feeling ok today especially Janet, Maria an Cheryl.
Take care all
Love Valxxx
Hi Val
DeleteI agree with you about the Snowflake die I have it & I also have a terrible time cutting it 😫. Shame as it looks lovely on your card.
Have a good day love Lynda xx
Hi Val and Lynda, Have you tried using Wax paper between your die and card or rubbing the die with a tumble drier sheet? Might just help. LOL
DeleteThanks Brenda. I keep forgetting about the waxed paper I have in a drawer somewherexx
DeleteAnother quick Hello. The cards are beautiful. I just ran out of time and mojo this week. OH has been working so hard this week cleaning carpets, painting etc that I would have felt extremely guilty disappearing to my craft room.
ReplyDeleteOff to get more paint and collect my new glasses -boy I hope these ones work!
Later we may go to Hertford for a Food/beer festival, just waiting to hear from daughter to see if they're going and the details
Take care all xxx
Hi Karen
DeleteHope your new classes are ok, & did you enjoy the food & beer festival.
Hug's Lynda xx

Sending hugs to all who need them particularly Janet love Margaret.xxx
Shame it's stuffed with cheese. I could have punched a bit for Petes lunch.
DeleteHi Sandra and everyone.
ReplyDeleteLovely sketch cards this week, they're fabulous :-) Like Karen, I ran out of time too during the week, and yesterday when I sat down to craft I just couldn't get into doing much. I did try, but my mojo too had gone on its holidays! Think it's due to the fact of having a lot on my mind at the moment and with all the excitement of the new job - which I thank you all for again for your lovely messages yesterday :-)) xx
Sandra, have a lovely day with Paul and enjoying the puppy sitting.
Karen, hope the new glasses are ok, and enjoy the food and beer festival ;-)
Maria, I hope you're enjoying your few days away and you are pain free x
Hoping everyone is keeping well and you all have a lovely day :-) Sending hugs xxx
Morning everyone from a beautiful sunny Somerset.
ReplyDeleteI hope it lasts as still have some hand washing to do from my holiday.
Yet another array of gorgeousness in the challenge cards.
You have excelled yourselves ladies so much it wouldn't be fair to try to pick out a favourite.
Sorry I didn't feel up to taking part this week.
I sent Hochanda a pm on FB yesterday Sandra after you posted about the prices of the Derwent Coloursoft pencils. 'They thanked me for the information and they would pass on my post to the Pricing Department to look into it. They pride themselves on finding the best prices and quality for their customers' Watch this space as 'they' say.
Helping Joseph now with his homework, Independent learning Assignment 'Making Paper' which involves making his own, I can foresee a 'messy day' ahead of us.
Love 7 hugs
Cheryl xxx

Hello Sandra and all in the coffee shop,
ReplyDeleteLadies your cards are all brilliant and so inspiring. I have often thought I should have kept a catalogue of all the sketch cards. It would be a great go-to when I am lacking inspiration - which is frequently!! Sorry I didn't enter this weeks CC I started to test my colouring pencils and was totally hooked, colouring is so addictive.
Sandra and Paul hope you are having a good day and Matts puppy is behaving.
Wishing everyone a relaxing and restful day, Love and Hugs, Brenda xxx
Hello All,
ReplyDeleteGreat cards again this week, mine is a very feeble attempt this week, it was the sixth attempt, rest went in the bin. Seem to have lost my way card making, going to try using alcohol inks which I have had for years, also ordered fantasy fibres from the craft channel so hope that gives me some inspiration.
Not much happening here, two loads of washing blowing on the line.
Have a good rest of Sunday, hugs Lilian
Hi Lilian
DeleteWe also got the washing done today. It's much brighter today that yesterday.
Hi Sandra
ReplyDeleteA great selection of cards today. It's good to see how other crafters interpret one single design.
Good luck with the dog sitting. Not much going on here at the moment. Craig is still unwell so I had to cook a very quick lunch today. Petes out on the garden at the moment and the F1 race is being recorder.
Hugs to all who need one today especially Janet, Lynda and Maria. Oh Lynda give Terry a hug from meif your getting that close to him.
Hi Sandra and all in the Café today. Beautiful C cards ladies, always inspiring, thank you.
ReplyDeleteSending love and hugs to you all with extras for all in need
Take care xx
