Your Ukraine Flag Challenge cards

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

Oh I do hope you all had the lovely sunshine we had yesterday,  it was glorious,  we were sat outside in the afternoon, Matt came over to cook for us, he cooked a big leg of lamb over a fire pit in the garden, I was a bit dubious at first but it wss deliscious, we cooked the roast potatoes and veg inside.  Something different, nice for a change. (I'm not sure we would have patience to do it though). We don't even bother with BBQ's.

We are going to Garden Centre today to get some seed compost, so that we can get started with veg seeds

Your Challenge Cards

Karen

Karen's Description:

Card 1: Here’s a card for challenge using Miss P Loves dies and a Julie Hickey sentiment

Card 2:  I used Salty Ocean and Fossilised Amber /Squeezed Lemonade  for the background, the Flower is from Julie Hickey Designs, the sentiment is from IndigoBlu.

I love the card you have made using the Miss P dies, the colours are lovely.
Now I know you aren't keen on your second card Karen but I really like it, it would work well as a journal page too .
Thank you so much for supporting this weeks challenge XXX

Lilian

Lilian's

Here is my challenge card for this week, not very different, Tim Holtz corner die, sorry do not remember where the stamps came from. The blue is blue print ordinary distress ink. Hope to get a journal page done as soon as I can get an idea. Lilian

Lilian your card couldn't be more perfect,  the colours are amazing and the flower stamp you have used looks very much like a Sunflower which is yhe National Flower of Ukraine.  Thank you so much for such a stunning Challenge card.  XXX

Sonia

Sonia's Description:

Card 1:  I’ve used a Tim Holtz stencil on the die cut heart, and the sentiments are from Tim Holtz too. The die cut heart border is from Lawn Fawn.

Journal Page:  I wanted to create a journal page too. I’ve used AALL and Create stencil and flower stamp. The ‘word’ stamps are from various Crafter’s Companion sets.

Sonia your cards and journal page are amazing,  the heart theme if your first card is lovely and matches the sentiment, those people are all so incredibly brave.
Your journal page says it all, those flowers are stunning.
Then we have your original card with the beautiful butterfly, all very clean crisp & perfect.
Thank you so much for supporting this challenge,  I think its one that has touched us all. XXX

  1. Morning Everyone
What a fantastic array of craftiness on the boards for this week's Challenge.

I'm sorry that I didn't get a card done. It's just been one of those week's where I've had too many reminders.
I shall be doing my best this week.

It's a quiet day here. The sun is shining but there's frost on the ground and it feels a bit nippy.

The CAFE is OPEN but no lunch menu today.
HUGS are on their way to all with loads of extras for Dear Friends not feeling their best.
PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

  4. Hiya
Wonderful cards from you ladies. Love the blue and yellow together. It's sitting a half done one on the worktop in the kitchen, sorry, but one thing I got finished is the crystal art so when I have it framed I will send you a photo Sandra.
It's a gorgeous day so sat outside for a bit and looked around where to start digging, will ask son to help with the first one for the clay/soil borders are very wet and heavy.
Had a lovely walk to Dobbies yesterday and we had a slice of cake with the coffee, no Yorkshire person with us. 😃 Could hardly walk in the evening but it was so worth it to see the sun again 😎
I hope you all have a nice Sunday and many hugs are being sent for you all. Maria xx
