Good Morning Ladies,
Just a quickie today as I am struggling to stay awake, due to my system being used to high levels of opiod pain meds my body resisted the sedation meds, after 3 doses into the canula the chap was laughing saying 'you really don't want to relax do you' i couldn't speak as I had a thing in my mouth that they pass the ultrasound probe through, but i tried to indicate that I was trying to relax my AF ridden heart was betraying me, lets face it who would be totally relaxed in that situation?!
Today's card I made on Sunday afternoon, I bought a set of SU Daffodil Dies in the sale this time last year I think but I never got around to using them, so being inspired from seeing the first signs of Daffodils emerging I got them out to have a play with. There are about 4 layers to each flower, I think they look quite effective though, I used two shades of yellow, Mango Melody & So Saffron and Garden Green for the leaves. I used a blended background effect paper onto my card base and decided to arrange the Daffs onto a circle die cut, this draws your eye in, they just seemed to get lost on the background otherwise, the sentiment is made up of two Tim Holtz word stickers (for simplicity) I may change them when I decide whatbI am using the card for. It would be nice for Easter or Mothers Day I think.

ReplyDeletePretty card today, I also love daffodils, it makes you feel that maybe winter is on its way out.
More sewing today, trying to finish my table runner today. Need it to cover the white ring mark on my coffee table. Any one got any ideas to get rid of them I’ve tried all the known things.

Hello Sandra and everyone, i hope you have recovered after yesterday’s endoscopy. I was with you all the way having been there myself, it’s frustrating when they are talking to you and you are not able to respond verbally. I had a lovely nurse holding my hand who had previously had the procedure on three occasions so was able to reassure me. When is your next appointment? Not to long a wait I hope. xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring card today, our daffodils are beginning to shoot, the first to show there flowers are miniature ones, they are in the shadiest and coolest part of the garden but always bloom first a very welcome sight.
Not much planned for today, just housework and i have made a start on that already - just taking a break, hot chocolate didn’t fancy coffee today, better plod on. Hope your day is more exciting.

Hi Sandra and all looking in. A lovey card today. Daffodils are one of my favourites showing that spring is on the way. Mum loved them too and we used to buy each other a bunch each week. Even now I still go to pick some up for her 😏 I hope you slept well last night. I find it fascinating being able to see my insides during an endoscopy. And it’s amazing what the docs can do these days. I hope you are seen soon for the results xx

ReplyDeleteA very pretty card. I too love seeing the furst sign of spring flowers and daffodils are one of my favourites. Hope you feeling better and not in any pain . When I had mine done they filled me with so much air which made me feel awful but it went after a day's rest.
Home alone today but didn't do anything other then run the duster around and spoken to mum.
I hope that you had an alright day everyone and that craft mojo is turning up by tomorrow.
