Your Die Only Challenge cards

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you are all well, we were treated to a gloriously sunny day yesterday,  there was a light cool breeze that made it really comfortable.  We only had one chore and that was to take a parcel to the post office for Lucy, we decided to go to Fairford post office as it was closest and an easy journey, now I'm not sure if the discovery me made is a good or bad.... adjoining the Post Office is a tea shop/bakery, we HAD to walk through it to exit Post Office, if I could describe the smell, I have no words, the have just about every flavour of Brownie/Blondie, heavenly tray bakes to as well as freshly made cinnamon buns and Lardy cake (local delicacy), it was physically impossible to not buy anything,  no honestly it was impossible Nd I would have regretted it for the rest of the day, so here isca photo of our choice.....

Paul chose Terry's White/Milk chocolate orange Brownie

I chose Millionaires slice,  I had already cut a piece off the end, hence the squished end, if I say it weighs about 1/2 pound I wouldn't be too far off, it was huge and tasted Divine!!

We made ourselves wait till we had earnt them!! Well almost 🤣😂

Your Die Only Challenge cards

Lilian

Lilian your card is so beautiful,  an actual work of art, I love the layers of detail, that wreath is finished beautifully with those darling die cut flowers, the bird is so pretty, the colours are as always spot on.  Thank you so much for such a lovely Challenge card XXX

Maria

Maria's Description:

Here is my simple cc for this week.
It is a Spellbinders die set(no name) with the little die from die cutting magazine
with the butterflies .

Oh Maria,  your card is Beautiful,  those Lacy Oval dies are one of my favourites of all time from Spellbinders, so pretty without being too fancy.  The inner detail with the Butterflies is exquisite,  the butterflies are a perfect adornment. Thank you so much for such a lovely Challenge card, I do hope that your hand isn't too sore today my lovely XXX

Karen

Karen's Description:

Here’s a card for this week (finally!)
All die cut - a freebie tree die circle die and a square

Love this card Karen, the colours are gorgeous,  so bright and cheerful,  the detail is incredible,  look at the little birds building their nest, perfect for a New Home card, I really like that sentiment too, those layered sentiments are so much easier to use as yoy don't need to cut a label or tag to put them on.  Thank you so much for taking part, now relax and let your body fight off this miserable virus !! XXX

Sonia

Sonia's Description:
I cut the Penny Black background die twice in Kraft card to make a rectangle. The Lawn Fawn heart border is inked in Spun Sugar. I used Tim Holtz butterfly and The Stamp Market sentiments.

I love that background die Sonia,  so many different shapes depending on how you look at it.  I also love how you have allowed the background to shine, that gorgeous heart border and butterfly compliment the design perfectly but take nothing away from the background. Your simple sentiment and pretty pearls finish your card perfectly.  I hope you had an amazing day celebrating with family yesterday and the celebrations continue today too.
Thank you so much for taking part and inspiring us my lovely XXX

Sue

Sue's Description:

Hi my lovely. Just remembered to send my challenge card! Sorry but I can’t remember where I got the sentiment from. The card is from Lidl and the ribbon is from a charity shop.

I absolutely love how your card turned out, that ribbon trim works so well with the colours in the Birthday sentiment, Genius addition 🤣😜!!  Thank you so much for taking part my lovely XXX

  2. Hi everyone
A lovely selection of beautiful cards on display today. They’re all fabulous 😍
Oooh Sandra, your cakes look absolutely delicious. I wouldn’t be able to resist either and I’m sure you’ll be visiting that post office again 😉
Had a lovely afternoon and evening with the family, and the weather was such a bonus. Unfortunately my elder brother couldn’t make it as he was stuck at work, but he’s popping round this morning.
We have ordered a roast dinner from a local pub for our lunch today, so am looking forward to that - no cooking and eating in the comfort of our own home 😊
Tomorrow, Mark and I are off to Wales to the hot tub lodge (where we went last September) I can’t wait! 😊
Have a lovely day everyone whatever you’re doing. Sending hugs to you all xxx

  3. Morning everyone
Wonderful cards ladies. Love all the different dies used.👍
I had a few going but had a bit of an accient with my hand pushing the plates to go through the machine and before I know it some skin was stuck between the cutting plates and I was proper stuck 🙄 ended up with having to pull myself free because the reverse on the machine didn't work fast enough to let me go and the pain was intense. 😣 Will teach me not to put anything other then a die between the plates in the future 🥴 Had such a nice day sitting reading out on the patio.
Glad you had a good day Sonia. Have to apologise, card will be in post asap. Not sure what's happening but will try to do better.
Wishing you all a nice day whatever you are doing. Take care. Many hugs to you all, Maria xx 🤗
