More Christmas cards made!!!

Good Morning Ladies,

I had a lovely, productive afternoon in my craft room, I am trying to get through my list of recipients before the weekend, so that I can get them all posted Saturday.

These cards I made using the free papers I got with a Papercraft Inspirations magazine, they are Trimcraft papers and in have to say they are an exceptional quality, I would definitely buy them.
I chose this particular paper as I thought it had a snowy background and would work perfectly with the 'Precious Marieke Winterfun Border', with its swirling snowflake design.
I took a white card base and added a mat of silver mirror card, then added the lovely decorative paper. I die cut two of the borders, placed them back to back across the middle of the card, I then added a piece of Foil edged ribbon across the centre and topped with a strip silver of sequin trim.  I finished this with a bow topped with a silver Snowflake.  A simple 'Merry Christmas' is all the finishing the card needed.

I am hoping to have some more crafty fun today, hopefully with at least one of my craft friends, fingers crossed!.

I hope you all have a fantastic day, however you are spending it.

Sending love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

Two gorgeous Christmas cards Sandra, they’re really lovely.

I had a great time last night-there was only 4 of us but we had such a laugh which is just what I needed.

Hopefully work won’t be too busy today so I can clear some paperwork then it’s Tesco shopping then phone my Dad. Think I’ll be ready for bed after that!

  3. Morning Everyone
from an extremely rainy start to the day. It rained all day and night and it's still at it. Good thing it isn't snow!!!!

SANDRA-beautiful Christmas cards. They really shout 'class'.

I had a very busy morning wrapping and hoping to get it finished today.
Jim starts his taxi service today and will finish next Friday 22nd. The hospital have arranged our Friend's treatment to start two days early so that he doesn't need to go over the Christmas/New year period.

The CAFE is OPEN all day so pop in for a visit. It's nice and dry and a warm welcome is always there.
HUGS are on their way to you all. Keep warm.xxxx

  6. Hi Sandra & Ladies
Sandra two stunning cards from you today Have fun with your crafty buddy.
Well we went to the Range as they were having a big 75% off craft sale.& Lots of items were down to10 p. It was advertised on the back of my craft mag.
We got there at 10am no reduced signs any where so asked assistant she said I'm doing the paints first I've only just started & said where did you see it advertised. You would think they would have started before 10am.
So that was a waste of time.
Still yesterday was a good day round Margaret's she was sorting through her craft stuff & I came home with three bags full of stamps Phil martins embossing past in sets & lot's more so I'm off to craft room to sort it all out. Margaret said she will sort more out & bag up what she doesn't want for me .How lucky am I.
Will go & find homes for it all.
    Love &Hug's Lynda. Xxxx

  8. Hi again, a bit disappointed at the glitter class as we only had time to put 3 coats of special glittery glue on the 2 long stemmed glasses I chose and it hardly made an impression. Anyway Wendy and I are taking them into craft class tomorrow as Wendy has some modge podge were going to try. It was good fun though and a nice group of ladies.

Hope the weather has improved wherever you are ladies.
    See you tomorrow.

  9. Hi Sandra and all.
Love the Christmas cards Sandra. Really is a hit or miss with papers that comes with the magazines, this one is nice.
Thank you Michele for your card, it's lovely.
Have to use your idea next year for sticker corners than norm ones, some of the cards I sent abroad cost me near £3 because they were too chunky.
Karen- great amount of money collected, well done. Hope you all had fun today.
Not having a good day so I will wish you all a nice evening and I'll see you tomorrow hopefully, many hugs Maria xxx
