Your TicTacToe Challenge projects

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

I hope you all managed to stay warm yesterday,  it was quite sunny here but we had really dark clouds in between,  it tried to snow a few times, the temperature didn't rise above 5° all day, this time last week I could smell BBQ's being lit and  I had washing blowing on the line !!  This week its on the Airing Horse in front of the Aga!  I did discover that the hottest of the two Hotplate covers is hot enough to get creases out of clothes, so now I can lay t shirts over and smooth the creases out and fold them and they look ironed!  Hanging damp laundry over the hand rail on the front gets the creases out too, I hate ironing so any way if getting around it is a bonus!!

Janet, what goodies did you choose for K&N ? M&S Cheese Twists are lovely for a nibbling on, just the perfect amount of cheese,  do you take cakes too?

Your TicTacToe Challenge Projects

Sonia

Description for cards 1 & 2:

For the first one I’ve used inky background/stencil/butterfly.
I inked my card in Speckled Egg and Stormy Sky distress inks. The AALL and Create stencil is also done in Stormy Sky. I die cut the Tim Holtz butterfly, inked it in speckled egg and heat embossed with speckled egg embossing glaze.

The second card is favourite colour/die cut/stamping. I’ve used Chloe’s mirror card in rose pink (my favourite colour for crafting) I die cut the Amazing Paper Grace die twice  - in white card and the mirror card. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted stamps.

Thank you so much Sonia for sharing your beautiful Mothers day card and that Lovely Birthday Card, I bet your Mum loved her Mothers Day cards. I love the inky background of your first card, it is the perfect backdrop for those lovely stencilled Mandala's. Thank you for taking part in this challenge my lovely XXX

Karen

Karen's Description:

I used Speckled egg through stencil
and Tracy stamps I was inspired by a photo on FB
The hardest part was lining up the square centrally which is on foam pads and I think I should have made square smaller so that you could see the black and white stamping underneath

Categories used: stamping/ Inky Background/Bird

Thank you so much Karen for such a stunning card using Tracy Evans stamps, I love the colours that you have used, the colour blending on your flower is perfect XXX

Janet

Janet's Description:

Both my Challenge cards for this week are once again from LABLANCHE kits. The first card is made using 'SYMPHONIE IN BLUE'.
and uses  FLOWERS/FAV COLOUR/BIRDS/DIE CUTS

my second card was made using 'LILAC' kit. using FLOWERS/FAV COLOUR/BUTTERFLIES.

Two beautiful cards Janet, the birds and Butterflies in both cards are so beautiful, the papers themselves have so many layers within the design that you can see something new every time you look at them.  Thank you so much for taking part in my TicTacToe Challenge XXX

Lilian

Lilian's Description:

Categories are: flowers /die cut/inking background

All from stamping up : birthday blooms stamps, swirley scribbles , and an old piece of stencil. Used my zig clean colour pens, on pink pig paper, I don’t like it for blending.

Oh Lilian,  such a beautiful card,  you have inspired me to get that stamp set out, I headed touched it in years!  Your colouring is as always so perfect, I wish I had a fraction of your skill when it comes to colouring. The whole design of the card is  stunning.  Thank you so much for taking part in my TicTacToe Challenge XXX

  1. Morning Everyone
This is my third time of trying to get my comments published so short and hopeful.

Love today's CCs. Thank you SANDRA.

I always buy small cakes from M&S when it's my turn for refreshments at K&N. I'm using my small gift box I made a few weeks ago for my 'Make and Take' and to put inside of them a creme egg for Easter.

Hugs for all Dear Friends on their way.PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

  5. Hi All, sunny but bitterly cold again.

Love all the cards today, it always amazes me that we all do so different things.
My little fold was to cover up a wonky line underneath.

Trying to finish a jig saw today, much harder than I anticipated. It’s book shelves. Might see if I can start this weeks card, after I have finishes my ironing in the morning. Night, night Lilian
