Our Next Challenge- Karen's Choice

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

Friday is here again!!  No long weekend this time though!   How are we all?  It feels like such a long time since I caught up with you all !

Janet I hope you are all packed and ready for the journey to Dover,  I have everything crossed that the current issues with the traffic outside Dover doesn't cause you any delays, they have had long enough to organise everything.  I can't wait for the updates from your little corner of paradise XXX

Not sure what we are doing this weekend,  it all depends on my Covid tests, we are using them wisely as you have to pay for them now.

Our Next Challenge

I asked in our Chat group if anyone had a preference for our next Challenge , Karen suggested Monochrome or Monochrome with a Splash of colour.
Remember Monochrome doesn’t have to be black and white as I have tried to show with the inspiration above.
I hope that you all have a lovely weekend my lovelies,

Love and hugs to all of you,

  1. Morning Everyone
Love your choice of Challenge KAREN for this week.
I will do my best to join in. All depends what we might have to do to settle in.

Today is the day I HATE MOST whend we're going away.
The dreaded packing of the car. I put things in the hall ready but Jim always complains about 'how much are we taking'. Of course the idea was years ago 'we won't have anything to take as all we need is already there'. Never
I shall just run the hoover around and then get out of the way. Perhaps into my craft room.

The CAFE will be on 'holiday' for a while but the key is with SANDRA.
HUGS are on their way to you all.PLEASE TAKE GREAT CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx

  2. Hi everyone
A great choice of challenge for next week Karen 😊 Love all of the beautiful cards for inspiration too.
Janet, hope you get the car packed and have a safe journey. Can’t wait to hear all about your trip 😊 xx
The weather seems to have changed, ready for the weekend. Nothing planned here, I may be spending most of it in bed as I’ve come down with a stinking cold! I hope you’re starting to feel a bit better Sandra, and can enjoy the weekend whatever you’re doing.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx

  3. Hi everyone
Have a good journey Janet. Looking forward to hear about your your place in Marigny again and wishing you a wonderful time.
Great challenge for next week Karen. I will do my best. The cards for inspiration are all gorgeous.
Sandra, really hoping that your covid test showing that you are negative soon. Hope Sophie is better. Healing hugs for you and also for our Sonia, healing hugs for you too.
Brenda, hoping you are doing alright and Lynda, very quiet from you. Hoping you and Terry are alright.
After my outing yesterday I am not too good but already know that would happen so. I have tried today to make up some cards and been using my EF's. I used some gold paste and I made a big bobo by running it through the cutting machine. Don't think it was dry enough for it for I got gold paste on both the die and the cutting plate in which I had to scrub pretty hard to get off. That put me off for any more today so hopefully I can make a cc tomorrow and not be to late.
I can't believe it is the weekend again. Nothing planned other than put away some of the winter stuff but it might still be cold snaps so keeping the fleecy out for a bit longer. Many hugs to all Maria xxx

  4. Hello All, dull and a cold wind here today, so no sitting in the garden and heating on again.

Karen great challenge for next week, and all of the samples are great. Hope I’ll do better than what I have done this week, still struggling, all todays efforts have landed in the bin, having another go tomorrow. One thing I won’t be using is gold wax paste, I’ve made such a mess today.
Janet do hope the packing goes well, and when you arrive all is as it should be. Looking forward to hearing about those delicious cakes.
Hope you all had a pleasant evening, Lilian
