Good Afternoon
Todays card is a for a Colleague of my daughter.
I used a pale lilac colour theme, I pierced the edges of my base card then added a matt of the lilac card, I then used Sue Wilson's Heart Lattice embossing folder to add some detail to my main background piece, I printed my sentiment onto some more of the lilac card, then added a double sided adhesive sheet and covered the sentiment with Iced Snow for a bit of sparkle. I Die cut a frame using Spellbinders Label 22 (I used two sizes together to create an embossed frame). I added a border using a Fleur de Lys border die, topped with a strip of the lilac card, again with a
pearl flower strip across the top.
I then used Sue Wilson's Faux Quilled Flowers dies to cut a few flowers and leaves, layered them up and added pearls to finish them off. I added some top and bottom of the frame and a couple on the insert to carry the theme through. The insert I created with a piece of the lilac card and a matted with a Grand Decorative Square, which the sentiment was printed on. I hope you like the card.It was my first time using Sue Wilson's Faux Quilled Flowers and I loved them and I am now hooked. Sandra xx
Wow Sandra. This is stunning, I just love your layout and colour combo. Hope Lucy and Matt feel better soon. Our Christopher has to take immune suppressant too due to him having had two kidney transplants, so we have to be so careful when we get colds etc. Hazel xx
