Mothers Day card

 

Good Morning Ladies, 

I hope that you are all well or as well as you can be!  Sending hugs to those of you that need one ❤️ 

I love todays reminder, its very true, although it can be hard to believe at times.

Today's card I made yesterday for Paul's Mum for Mother's day.  I used my Altenew Garden Cosmos, I die cut the flowers but left them in place in the card to make it easier to add the inking.  I them popped out of the card and assembled the 6 different flowers,  Altenew have a brilliant system in that each group of petals has a die cut symbol so that you know you have the right petal and they have a guide to assembly, each petal has a number so that you know you add the right piece at the right stage, it sounds complicated but it makes it so much easier.  

I embossed a piece of card for the background and then arranged the flowers over the card base.  I added in some extra bits of foliage to fill out background.  I used a sentiment and coloured it to match the flowers.  Fingers crossed Paul's mum likes it.
