A look back at our crafts this week

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

Welcome March,  a lovely month with lighter evenings and lots of colour appearing in the garden xx

I can reassure you all that I won't be straying far from my bed or the sofa today,   I had a lovely day yesterday but my goodness was my head was pounding by the time we got home, it was a lovely day but I must get my BP sorted first.

Today's reminder is a good one,  today my version would be...I could   .......but I won't  ❤️

Let's look at what you have made this week..

Karen

Karen's Description:

1 :  My version of the Memorydex Challenge Number 4 Dog Lovers
I found the image of a row of dogs that I had used for a card This time I cut them out with ScanNCut
The background and lead are from Serif with a bit of stamping and stencilling I bravely opened the black texture paste 🤣

2 :  I have done a variation on my “You don’t look a day Over …”
I have used the other due that was in the set
The sentiment is same size as my other one but to me looks too big and funny enough the die is bigger too Will definitely make sentiment smaller

Oh Karen your Memorydex is amazing,  its hilarious,  I just love all of the expressions on the animals faces.  It all works perfectly together , the papers, the background stamping etc
I can't wait to see your next one.

I didn't think you could improve on your original 'Fabulous ' card but I love this one too,  it reminds me of Cruella De Ville !

Thank you so much for sharing your Challenge ideas with us XXX

Lilian

Lilian's Description, :

Hi, here is my journal page for this week.
It’s my version of “childhood “
I pieces from several junk journal, plus some from ciaobella secret garden.

Oh thats ' right up my street ' as my mum would say,  I love it Lilian,  the girl is so pretty too. I'd like to swap places with her right now,  but I'd struggle to read as blood pressure is messing with my eyesight!   I thought i needed a new prescription!

Thank you for an inspirational page my lovely XXX

Maria

Maria's Description:

My page for Sunday is coming here
À story in green.
I had the tall buildings in my stash. They were white but made a bobo so had to make one black 🤭. Stickers from Temu.

Oh WOW Maria,  your journal page is AMAZING!!  Everything works so well together, I love all the greenery you have added too.  The background stamping works well, I love the sentiment too.
I love seeing you all making these beautiful journal pages.

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely page and for pushing yourself out of your comfort zone XXX

Sonia

Sonia's Description:

Dog Lovers challenge.
A double journal spread using papers, images and verses printed from Pinterest (I’m getting quite addicted 😂) I used my own dies, the ‘Moments’ die is from Temu, and the cut out square thingy (can’t think what it’s called) is from my stash. The little flowers are a punch with gems added in the middle. I created a little pocket to put the verses in 😊

Oh Sonia these are amazing journal pages,  they'd work perfectly for my Becca too.  Your layouts are perfect and those papers are amazing,  its even more Fabulous because you haven't bought a book papers,  you've put them together yourself!  I am so happy that you are loving journal making so much.  Thank you for sharing your pages with us XXX

Sue

Sue's Description:

Another Christmas card done. The bauble dies were from Temu and the other dies from my stash. I can’t get the sentiment to show up on the photos unfortunately xx

Another amazing Christmas card Sue,  love those little baubles with the little sparkles on,  great way to create the branch to hang them from.
I have enlarged the part with the sentiment on so that everyone can see it.  It works so well, having it  up there means the bottom stays looking clean and simple.

Thank you so much for sharing another lovely Christmas card XXX

I hope that you all have a lovely Sunday,

Love and hugs to all,

  1. Hi everyone
Love all of the creations on display today 😍
It’s so lovely to see how we all interpret the challenge prompts and inspire each other. I’m loving doing them and trying to make them meaningful to myself which makes them extra special to me 😊
Love the daily reminder, and yours too! 😉
Such a lovely surprise to be able to meet up with you at Sandown yesterday and for Paul to bring you that extra distance ❤️ (He’s a star 🤩) It was wonderful wandering around, browsing and buying our goodies and having a good catch up. It was a perfect day.
I hope you managed to rest when you got home as it was a long day for you and Paul. I went to bed dreaming of all my new craft goodies and planning what I’m going to create first 😂
The show was worth going to and I managed to get what I wanted, although there were so many non crafting stalls but I guess they have to cater to as many people as possible. The journey there and back was good for me, and at only £8 a ticket, I’d definitely go again 😊
I hope you all had a good day yesterday and again today too, whatever you’re doing.
Sending hugs to you all xx
