Good Monday Morning Ladies,
Well a bit of a change in the weather for the start of the week, the difference in temperature was really evident yesterday, I needed my cardi on in the garden🤣😂
We managed to get all of the Alpines in that we got last weekend, they look just like the ones we bought last year, a little small and pathetic looking but 1 year on....
So hopefully this time next year we will have lots of ground cover and pretty flowers. Paul had quite a job as the bank is made up of tons of cotswold stones, you have to move it aside to get to the heavy clay soil, so Paul added lots of compost too.
Today I am sharing the lovely Thank you card that Our Gina made for Karen.
Gina used the Waffle Flower Postage die to create the card, adding both stamped images, die cuts and pretty papers to embellish the card. It's a lovely card Gina, thank you so much for allowing me to share it, thank you to Karen for taking the photo too XXX
I hope that you all have a good start to the week,
Love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxx
Hi Sandra and all looking in today. Beautiful cards yesterday, lovely to see all of the lovely colours xx
ReplyDeleteI love all of these pretty plants and how they grow so quickly. The red one in particular is one of my favourites. The red against the green is beautiful. Mother Nature at her best. That bank is so big but it’s starting to fill up nicely isn’t it. All of the hard work you and Paul have put in is really starting to show now isn’t it xx
Gina your card is so pretty. I have a similar die but haven’t used it yet so thank you for the inspiration xx
We have blue skies here at the moment. I hope you all have the same. Have a good day. Take care. Love Sue xx
My card from Gina is gorgeous I haven’t got this die set but it’s given me an idea for the SW shadow box die that I have
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks so pretty Sandra
Off to Craftea in a mo which means a short bus ride into town and a posh coffee!
Take care everyone xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards yesterday ladies. Loved seeing different colour ways that you not normally think of.
I love your flowers Sandra. All the beautiful, pretty little heads of colours . Your garden will look wonderful by summer.
Gorgeous card Gina. I like that die, haven't got that one, yet 😉😊
Karen, glad you had a good day out in London. Loved going to Camden gardens when my sister was here.
Brenda, hope you got hold of your sister in the end and that she is doing better.
It was OH birthday yesterday so his sister was here and a few friends came with us to the local pub for a meal. We have never eaten there before but we were very happy with their Sunday roast which was delicious and so were the pudding afterwards. Nice to know for anyone time and the bonus is we can walk to it as it only like a mile up the road.
He got some money from my folks so we loked at Dobbies this morning for a Camilia but they only had big ones already and at
£ 120 we thought we better look around ,
Have a good day everyone but keep warm if going out for that wind is cold 🥶
Hugs to you all, Maria xxx
Hello Sandra and everyone,
ReplyDeleteSandra, your garden looks so pretty a credit to you both for all time you spent planting.
Gina, I love the card postage stamp die, it could be used in so many ways, could even be cut up to look like individual stamps.
Have been struggling the last couple of days with hayfever, John cut the grass at the weekend so whether it was that that triggered it off I don’t know. I’m certainly getting through lots of tissues. Fingers crossed tomorrow will be a better day. Of course I want the nice weather to stay fine, just can’t win can we!
Rang my sister, the nurse didn’t offer to pass the ward phone to her but did put the doctor on, he told me the CT scan revealed she has cancer of the lymph nodes, I thought they had been removed when she had a mastectomy last year, apparently not. They are now waiting for the cancer doctors to make a decision. In the meantime she is still waiting for the heart bypass it’s actually a TAVI (transcather aortic valve implantation ) it’s a minimally invasive procedure to replace a diseased aortic valve. So for now we just have to be patient and wait ……. And pray.
Will say goodnight, hope you have all had a good day.
Sleep well, love Brenda xxx
