Good Monday Morning Ladies,
Welcome to the start of a new week my lovelies, I hope that you all had a lovely, relaxing weekend.
We had a lovely morning/early afternoon on the beach, we then went back to the pool as the wind picked up, finished the day there and went for dinner at our favourite restaurant for Paul's father's day treat x
I absolutely love the artwork to this reminder, such a beautifully coloured flower. The sentiment is spot on too.
I did this one a bit different I cut my SU scenery dsp down to 4 x 5 1/4 inch, I then cut the dsp into 1/4 inch strips and added foam tape to the back of every other strip, so one adhered straight to card then next had foam tape etc all the way across.
This method saved paper too as I didn't start with a piece adhered to the card base and attempted to match the raised pieces up.
I hope that you all have a great start to the week,
Love and hugs to all,
Sandra xxx

Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteI love your card today. Great idea to save the beautiful design by just using one piece of paper. You have lined it up perfectly 😍
The flower on today’s reminder is gorgeous isn’t it, and another lovely reminder for us all 🥰
Glad you spent time on the beach yesterday, did you manage to have a swim? Hope you all had a lovely meal too.
It’s going to be a hot week, so take it easy everyone 🥰
Sending hugs to you all xx
Hello all. Very hot already, going to water the plants first thing then I will stay indoors.
ReplyDeleteSandra love your card, very useful technique to save paper. I’ve never tried an eclipse card, not great at measuring.
Hope the girls arrived OK and you all have a lovely holiday.
Have a good day all, keep cool.
A beautiful reminder and it is such a lovely piece of artwork
ReplyDeleteI love your eclipse card too
The holiday sounds idyllic
Today is panic pack day for out holiday starting tomorrow! At the same time we need to move furniture etc because we are having the downstairs of the house redecorated whilst we are away
Take care everyone xx
Hej everuone
ReplyDeleteGorgeous eclipse card and a great way to save some paper. The daily reminder do have a lovely flower and words.
Its hot so all the blinds are down on our shut windows and the fan goes around in the lounge for us both. I did managed tho to have a breakfast outside because the neighbours tree is hanging over so it was nice and shady first thing. A little sparrow baby did fly into our windows during the early hours and gave me such a fright but I went downstairs and he sat there looking a bit dizzy and then he suddenly shudder and flew off. I hope he is alright or some cat will get him.
I hope you are having a great holiday and thet the girls are enjoying themselves. I hope you also have been able to have a dip in the sea. It's wonderful when you have problem wallking as you just can bobbing away .
Karen, hope the packing goes well but do take brakes in this heat.
I hope that you all have a lovely day. Hugs, Maria xxx
