Good Saturday Morning Ladies,
The shopping is done, as are most of the chores, so as it's the weekend its time to relax. Although we are up and out early as its the village market day today, the girls have us on a mission to look for house plants. I swear that they have become 'horticulture ' crazy, their bedrooms are like jungles, their latest obsession is propagating new plants from cuttings etc, there is a healthy competition between them to see who can successfully propagate the most new plants. As a consequence every shopping trip involves plant shopping! Why couldn’t they be craft mad ??? !!!

Here are a couple of bargains I have found. The candy cane ribbon is from B and M bargains £1.99 for 2 metres. They have lots to choose from at the moment. The no shed glitter card is from Temu at £2.50 for 10 A4 sheets. The colours are gorgeous and it is a good thickness card, perfect for Christmas cards xx
Thanks Sue, I felt the glitter card and it felt no different to any other that I have bought, the red is a lovely 'Christmas ' red too.

Also Lilian let me know today that there are so bargains to be had on Aall&Create website, a lot of stencils for £2.99 and a lot of stamps too, worth a visit. Thanks Lilian letting us know XXX

OH has just gone to ParkRun and then it’s our turn to clean Bowls Club So just gonna walk to supermarket to replace my rubber gloves and that will be my NHS10 done too

The glitter card is completely non shed, the red is the best Christmas red I’ve ever seen so I must get some more and some more of the other colours they have. I’m not sure what I will do with the ribbon. It was a “I love it so I’m buying it” purchase but at that price I don’t mind and as Mum used to say “it doesn’t eat anything”😘

I spent the morning catching up with the ironing, I keep saying I’m not going to let it pile up, but I always do.
This afternoon we have been for our flu and covid vaccination, nurse said we were very wise as it’s spreading again, and making people quite poorly. So now I have two sore arms , which is unusual for me, don’t usually have any effects.
Hoping to start another journal page tomorrow using some of Sandra’s ideas for the background.
Maria thinking of you and your Mum, my Brother had bladder cancer, but at his last appointment they couldn’t find any sign of it.

Sorry to hear that your brother had bladder cancer Lilian. Hoping for good outcomes is all you can do. Mum got it in her spine too but she's trying to be strong 😔
