Some older Autumnal cards Throwback Thursday

Good Thursday Morning Ladies,

Well I'm not sure what's more stressful, being 2 days out from the wedding or the fact that all of our families will be arriving in town in the next 24 hours.  It's going to be hard because obviously we want to spend time with them but my priotity is Becca.  I think we will take Paul's mum and my brother and possibly my sister into Bourton for Fish & Chips, then I need to go spend an hour with Becca,  then home to bed because I have to be up in time to shower and wash my hair and be at the priory for 6am !!! 😲🤣

So today I am sharing a couple of Autumnal cards from 2019.  I had a walk down the garden with Paul yesterday afternoon and it really felt like Autumn,  the leaves on the trees all seem to have turned early this year, maybe because if the drought. I do love the changing colours of Autumn though.

I hope that you all have a good day,

Love & hugs to all of you,

Sandra xxx

  2. Hi Sandra and all looking in.
Two lovely cards, I do love your floral cards in particular. You have such talent at arranging them so beautifully. It’s going to be hectic with everyone arriving so try and save as much energy as possible. Having a couple of nights of take always would be a good idea. And everyone will understand that you need to spend time with Becca before the big day xx
I am starting to look at my desk and want it cleared so hopefully I can sit and make a card or two very soon.
Have a good day. Take care. Love Sue xx

  3. Hi everyone
Sorry I’ve not been in for a few days! You received some beautiful birthday cards 😊 Your autumnal cards are lovely too, I love the colours.
I really hope Becca is ok, and you too. As Karen said, don’t do it all yourself and get the family to help. Being the Mother of the Bride, you deserve to feel special too and enjoy yourself 🥰
So…..I have finally finished painting Luke’s room, (bar the radiator and skirting boards - but they will mostly be hidden so I’m not bothering 😂) Just my desk, and picking up a Kallax unit that need to be put together and then I can move everything in. I should be back to crafting soon 😊😅
I hope you’re all keeping well.
Sending hugs to you all xx

  4. Hi everyone
Your cards are so lovely and suitable as the weather have really turned autumnal. It has been raining a lot today again.
Please as the mother of the bride you too should just take it easy and let the others help out. You are all going to have such a wonderful day 💕
Sonia, isn't great to get your very own crafting room (we are very lucky) So take some photos and share with us how it looks will you 😉
We had the dental hygienist this morning and then I had a hospital appointment.this afternoon. I needed to drink at least 1litre of water before going, found that hard to do We are always early and typical they were running late, 45 minutes so we had been there over an hour by then and I was bursting 🙁. The scan took 5 minutes and then I was happy to get to the loo 😊
Many hugs to you my friends xxx

  5. Evening all, quite chilly here today, and big heavy showers.

Love your autumn cards, although I hate the thought of summer being over and dark evenings coming in.
I echo what everyone else has said, do try and not overdo yourself this last day. How is Paul feeling about giving away his daughter, assuming he is going to, my apologies if that’s not the case. I remember R shedding tears walking down the aisle, he said it was the bit about giving his daughter away, good job he had a nice white hanky.
Have a good night all. Lilian
