Good Saturday Morning Ladies,
Welcome March, a month full of promise, the excitement of the garden 'Springing' to life !
We've had a stressful couple of days and it's reminded how much our pets become our furry children, poor Bella was really unwell so we had to rush her to the out of hours vets and in turned out she had huge abcess, they cleaned it out and gave her Antibiotic & Anti inflammatory injection, they left the would open to drain, however this has been frustrating as Bella will not leave it alone, we battled with the 'cone of shame ' collar, poor sweet girl absolutely hates having it on, it makes me so sad seeing her so unhappy 😪 We have ordered her a soft 'donut' style collar that she will still be able to eat and drink in, I also know that cats whiskers are super sensitive so having that plastic collar catching them all the time must be awful. We take her back to vets today for a check up. We have to sedate her first as she is so incredibly nervous about being taken out of the house.
Onto happier things, Soph has continued with her Sourdough journey, she has made Sourdough wraps this week and the most incredible Bagels...
They were deliscious and far nicer than any we have ever bought. We made some with Everything Bagel seasoning on, some with garlic salt and left some plain. I am 'trying ' to make better choices but couldn't resist one of these, after doing some research it turns out that Sourdough is actually good for your gut health, thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it ! 🤣😋
Our Next Challenge
I am sure that you are probably all fed up of Thrinchies (although I still have more to show as I am loving making them at the moment).
Karen suggested a New Challenge that we haven't done before, it's called the 1 2 3 Challenge.
I guess its similar to TicTacToe. You can use say...
1 Background paper
2 Die cuts
3 Embellishments
But you can choose your own 1 2 3. It could be 1 base card, 2 shapes 3 colours.
You know how it goes over here though, if you struggle with this concept just make it up, For Example:
Hi everyone.
ReplyDeleteThat saying is true, that what I going to say to OH when he asks why I need more 🤗
Looking forward to join you this week for some more crafting. I'm off out for the day for crafting today. It's mixed mediums so I can see it be a messy session.
Sorry to hear about Bella. Hope she be alright. Pippa is a bit flat. Not wanting to play or have a cuddle. Her nose is a bit warm and dry. Can that mean anything ?
Hoping Janet had a good day celebrating. I sent you a PM, hope you see it .
Cold but sunny day, hope you have the same. Have a lovely day. Many hugs to you all, Maria xxx
I hope Bella had a better night It is just as upsetting to see our pets in discomfort and pain
ReplyDeleteOoh Ladies, please don’t be put off by this challenge I saw it on someone else’s blog and at first I thought that it would be hard But as Sandra has shown we probably do this kind of thing with most of our makes in some way I might even challenge myself and make a Christmas card
Take care everyone xx
Hello everyone, it’s a lovely day here, although we had a very hard frost this morning.
ReplyDeleteWe seem to be connected to internet at last, yesterday was such a frustrating day. I didn’t realise how much we depend on our Wi-Fi working well.
Karen great idea for a new challenge, going to see if my craft studio will work, not even sure my laptop will work, tend to stick to my iPad most of the time.
Sandra do hope Bella will feel better soon.
Your bagels look delicious, I’m sure they are better than the ones I buy, although I’m trying to start loosing weight again, I haven’t gained I’m pleased to say,
Not sure what I’m doing next. Have a good day .Lilian.
Sorry forgot to say Happy St. David’s day.
