💕Happy Birthday Val 💕
First of all today I would like to wish our Very Dear Friend Val a very Happy Birthday, I hope the sun is out and that you have an amazing day xxxx
Today's card is Michele's Valentine card for Phil, I love the stepper card design Michele, it works so perfectly with four letter words as the match up with the steps, I also think that adding the personal details makes a card more of a gift.
Michele originally made this card for the Challenge last week but I asked her if she would allow me to keep it for today as I knew I wouldn't be getting one made in time.
I love that big Lacey heart that isn't too girly for a man's valentine card too.

Now as expected my craft unit arrived today......we decided not to pay £150 to have it assembled because we thought it was too expensive and how hard can it be?!!.....
I'm kind of regretting that now, particularly as it arrived in 23 boxes, yes that's right 23 !!! As if we don't have enough boxes in the house!!
Wish us luck with this project!!!

I had a lovely afternoon yesterday. It was lovely seeing everyone. We are trying to get new members to join us as over the past year our numbers have dropped and we're now down to 8 of us.
Nothing planned for today so it's a 'we'll see what happens day'. Jim is on duty so it will be a quiet afternoon.
The CAFE is OPEN and decorated nicely for Valentines. So pop in and have a sit and a chat.

Had a lovely meal out yesterday and had settled down with Lynn and Paul to watch the second series of Peeky Blinders when Lynn got an email from the lady who fills in for them in the shop to say all the Valentine cards have been sold. Now we know from experience that when the men come in the shop this morning to buy their daily paper they buy a Valentine as well. So between 7 and10 we had a production line and made 12 cards. Must make more next year.
Off to get my hair done short then crib this afternoon.

The doctors just rung to speak to Pete to see how he's getting on with his hospital visits. He's stopped taking his Codeine but still taking his Naproxen. She's decided now to give him more that 28 at a time ( thank goodness), as we were having to order them every 2 weeks. She'll keep an eye on the letters the hospital send to them, and speak to him later on in his treatment.
Will look in later.

Hello All, it’s been pouring down all.
ReplyDeleteDentist this morning, have to have two fillings next week, so that will be another big bill. Took ages with the hygienist as she couldn’t use the ultrasonic cleaner, in case it interfered with my loop recorder.

Yur gonna wish you spent the $ on gettin that mama up n runnin it's a SOB to get ready for storing. Wishin you luck with that lol don't expect to use it for at least two weeks that's how god dam hard it is but looks mighty fine ��
