My new stamp

Good Morning Ladies,

From a wet, wild and very chilly Gloucestershire,  we had to put the heating on last night, we haven't needed it for the past few weeks, but you could definitely feel the drop in temperature yesterday. Lucy and I had a day out, did some shopping and had lunch, its lovely spending 1 on 1 time with the girls, on Friday Sophie is taking me to a food festival, which sounds amazing.

While browsing on Pinterest I came across a couple of cards that I absolutely loved, I did some research and found that the stamp was Taylored Expressions Sketchbook Bouquet,  I received it yesterday late afternoon and couldn't wait to play with it.

All I did for this card was to stamp and die cut the flower bouquet, I stamped onto watercolour card so that I could choose any medium to colour with,  as it was after 4pm when I got in from shopping so I wanted something simple to create, I took my Zig Clean Colour pens and added Colour to the centres of the flowers and washed the Colour out, I went for Kraft card, I drew a rough rectangle with a fine liner and added the stamped flower on foam pads. Its simple but pretty.

I hope that you all have a good Thursday,

Love & hugs to all,

Sandra xxx

  1. Good morning everyone
A very pretty stamp and card Sandra. Lovely to get out with your girls, the food festival sound interesting.
Going down to sister-in-law today. They have moved in to a new flat and fingers crossed they be more happier in this one then the one before for she definitely doesn't wont to move again.
It's meant to get warmer but where that's gone I'm not sure for I'm cold and the heating was on here too yesterday, at least the wind has gone.
Have a nice day everyone. Take care and many hugs to you all xx

  2. Hello everyone, dry day at last. We still have our heating on, I feel the cold, so rely on the thermostat to keep the temperature at 20deg.
Sandra apologies for missing yesterday, todays card and yesterdays , are lovely, so perfect. Going to try and do one with tulips today, the wind wrecked all the ones in the garden.
Karen congratulations for your wedding anniversary, hope you have a lovely time with the boys.
Have a good day all, Lilian

  5. Hi Sandra and all looking in. Loved yesterday’s purple and yellow card. Always a perfect match. What a lovely card. I can see why you love this pretty stamp. And I love the style of this card. I am enjoying clean and simple more and more and you know I love Kraft card so all in all this one is a real beauty.
Glad you had time out with Lucy and again tomorrow with Sophie. And how lovely that Matt is full of ideas for Becca. Between them this wedding will be stunning. It’s always heartwarming when our children are there that extra bit for each other. It makes me a bit teary when they are like that. I hope the soil is getting washed in the right direction? Weather awful again isn’t it! Xx
I hope the winds have eft you all safe again. It’s calm here now at last. Take care. Love Sue xx
