Good Monday Morning Ladies,
I hope that you are all well, I hope that you all got time to relax and recharge your batteries over the Christmas/New year period. Have any of you managed any crafting? I have been into my craft room a few times but mostly to reorganise and tidy. I really believe that starting afresh with a nice tidy desk helps when it comes to thinking up new projects .
Today's stunning card is my Christmas card from Pat, the photo doesn't do the card justice though. Its so hard to capture all of the incredible detail that Pat has incorporated into her design.
I love how it looks like there are layers, the centre square for example could be a card on it's own without the beautiful borders that Pat has added, the final festive touches that I couldn't get to show on camera are all of the glittered elements, delicate touches that really add to the overall look.
Thank you so much Pat for such a gorgeous Christmas card XXX
Ladies I have started to make a list of techniques for us to try out through the year, researching each one. If there are any that you would like me to include please let me know below.
The Covid-19 cases continue to soar, another 50,000 + cases yesterday, please stay home and stay safe, Karen I hope that you can continue the amazing work you do from home, Michele I know you can't stay home, I hope that you get your immunisation programme started this week, we all appreciate what you do. Sonia please take care as you return to work too, your job is so valuable, you are making such a difference to those people that can't see their families, I feel that you deserve as big a thank you as NHS nurses my lovely, please take care.xxx
Love and hugs to all of you
Sandra

Morning Ladies
ReplyDeleteSandra-what an absolutely stunning card from
Pat. So much detail on it-certainly one to keep.
I haven’t done any crafting the last 2 weeks. I felt like I needed a complete break from everything.
Going in early today as we have additional testing to do this week. While my colleague starts on the testing, I can catch up on emails.
Michele
Morning Sandra and all in the cafe' today.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card from our Pat, it is stunning !
So sorry Brenda to hear about the fire but very glad that no one is injured.
For you who are working, please take care! and that includes your husbands and children. I don't want to hear anymore excuses, everyone knows what to do and still there are people out there who think they are immune. When is it going to end
Have not done much crafting for some time now except SIL birthday card so hoping today to make a start on the new cc. It's raining a bit so not sure of a walk, perhaps later if it stop for a while.
Many hugs are sent for you all xxx
Hi Sandra & ladies
ReplyDeleteIt’s dull and my miserable here today. Quite windy as well.
I hope you get your vaccination soon Michele it’s worrying at the moment isn’t it. Luckily our rates in West Oxfordshire are quite low compared to a lot of places.
I’m not to sure if a walk is on the cards or not at the moment, but I do need to get at least milk today.
Take care and stay as safe as you can.
Hello All, it’s a lovely blue sky day here, very cold.
ReplyDeleteYour card from Pat is exquisite, so much fine detail work, love it. Mine from Pat was also beautiful.
I haven’t done any paper crafting, did a bit of sewing, made a bag to put our Christmas tree in the loft.
Looking forward to starting again , although I am waiting for some new stamps from Crafty Devils, they offered a free goody bag if you ordered on Christmas Eve and it was over £30, we will see, mostly rubbish I expect.
Have got my calendar out so hope to have at today, mostly stamping I think.
Hope you all have a good day, hugs for all Lilian
Beautiful card Pat As was mine from Pat
ReplyDeleteWork was OK but very busy Extra work to be done I worked a bit longer to try and help where I can
Take care all xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteAn absolutely stunning card from Pat. I loved mine too 😊
Went to Tesco this morning to do the weekly shop. Got there just after 10am so still pretty quiet, although getting busy as I left. Stopping in this afternoon in the warm.
Thank you Sandra, although hard at times it’s a worthwhile job and just knowing we are there for our residents at times like this is very rewarding. I’m off this week, but on standby just in case.
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx
