Good Morning Ladies,
I think we were all relieved to hear that we were going into Lockdown on Monday, you all sounded as relieved as I was, I think that we are going to see things get worse before it gets better as we see the results of mixing over Christmas and New Year, I wonder how long it will take to see the results of the Vaccinations, have any of you been given a date?
Todays card is the gorgeous Christmas card that Michele made for me, I absolutely love it, the silver metallic snowflakes really catch the light, those tiny poinsettias are just perfect, I love that dark red/brown colour too. Michele's used one of Christine Emberson's Charity kits to make this card and has been looking for the die set ever since, it is a Spellbinders die I will share a picture if it below.

I contacted Spellbinders who will only ship to an address in USA. I’ll keep checking Ebay just in case.
Yesterday we successfully started our Covid vaccination clinics for staff, another delivery of vaccines due tomorrow.

I spoke to Christine this morning and she told me that she was very lucky to get this die sent to her last year. It should still be available but she said the postage could be a much. I too will still look for it, might be lucky one day 😃

Not sure what I do today. The rain is on it's way so not sure of a walk and body feeling achy.

ReplyDeleteA lovely card Michele as was mine from you. I’m not to sure if we’re having rain today. But I’d better get out for a walk soon just in case it does rain. It’s quite windy and cold though. I haven’t been out for a walk for a few days as the cold wind makes me catch my breath.

R has lost a filling, dentist only on answering machine, so he’s in a bit pain, only had it done a couple of months ago.
Didn’t get around to crafting yesterday, tired out from the hospital, so hoping to try again today.
Still have not had my parcel from Crafty Devils ordered on Christmas Eve. Still have to be patient.

Out early this morning for Barneys second puppy ‘welfare’ groom. He is now lovely and fluffy and smells gorgeous too ☺️
Seems like people are taking the advise and staying home as the roads were fairly quiet (although it was still early) and there were only a handful of people in pets at home.
Lilian, I’m still waiting for my craft goodies too, although the websites did say they wouldn’t be shipping until 4 January. Most of mine have been dispatched apart from one, so hopefully I’ll get mine in the next day or so. Fingers crossed yours arrives soon.

DeleteThank goodness we are going into full lockdown. Everything is crossed that this time along with the start of the vaccines it allows us to get on top at last. It was a jolt to see on last years calendar when I was transferring birthdays etc. to see when I had written about this virus that was affecting the world and to know that it won’t be long before it is a year old!
