Pretty Bouquet card

Good Wednesday Morning Ladies,

We are in wedding invitation production line mode here at the moment,  it was so monotonous cutting and scoring the pieces of card to exactly the same size over and over again.  I was doing the inside pocket for most of the afternoon,  I have decided to use double sided tape to adhere the pocket,  when I tried my usual glue it ended up oozing out onto the visible part of the invitation, because its dark green card the glue mark was super visible. It will be a bit more time consuming but will look better.  I will be doing the actual main body of the invitation today.

It was quite a nice change to make an actual card,  I used a new die set and embossing folder for this card.  The folder is called 'Floral & Vine' and the stamp set is called 'Sealed Wildflowers', both Spellbinders.

I created a 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 card base, then embossed a panel of the same card 1/4 inch smaller and then adhered this to card base.  Next I die cut the flowers and foliage from different coloured card, adhered the flowers to the stems and arranged them into a bouquet and adhered them to a circle of white card.  I stamped the sentiment and die cut and added foam pads and placed it onto the bouquet.  This circular piece had foam pads added and placed onto the card base.                                                            I quite like these flowers 💐

I hope that you all have a lovely day,

Love & hugs to all,

Sandra xxx

  1. Very pretty That EF looks very deeply etched
I know exactly what you mean re wedding invites I used ScanNCut for the cutting which helped cut the inserts accurately etc Once you get a routine and production line going it won’t be too bad
    Take care everyone xx

Beautiful card, the flowers are so pretty 😊
Hope the wedding invitations go well, they will look lovely when all finished.
Couple of hours overtime at work this morning, but home now. It’s a lot milder out but very damp in the air.
    Have a good day everyone

  3. Hi Dandra and all looking in. What a gorgeous clean and simple card, I love everything about it. That embossing looks really deep and is so pretty. Those little flowers are super cute too. I had a opoid looking at Spellbinders stuff very much as I didn’t really like what they were making but I I’ll definitely look again after seeing these dies and the ef.
I hope you are getting on well with the invites again today my lovely xx
I have just sat down after sorting out some of my clothes. The charity shop is getting a big bag full of things that are too small or that I haven’t worn recently. I’m trying to work my way through the house slowly decluttering each room in small sections each day.
I hop you are all ok and keeping warm. It is chilly here again today but with a brighter sky which is sp nice to see.
    Take care. Love Sue xx

  4. Hello everyone, foggy this morning , but better now the sun is shining.
Your card is so pretty love that embossing folder, I have trouble with those deep folder, my Gemini two.
The flowers are so cute also the colours you use are perfect.

Nearly finished my card which I have had trouble getting straight.

Had my diabetic eye test this morning, all wells don’t have to go for two years, which is good. Just got the dentist next week, then all my appointments are over for the time being.
Hope your invites are going well, I remember how tedious they are.

    Hugs to all Lilian
