One last Mixed Craft Saturday!

Good Saturday Morning Ladies,

From a VERY cold Gloucestershire,  my goodness it's white out there, such a heavy frost, we are forecast snow today, I want it to snow selfishly, because O love it, but as a Mum who's kids have to drive to work I don't want it to snow, the ice is bad enough.  Luckily because we are so rural there is always something jumping out of the hedge so you drive fairly slow and wary anyway, well we do atleast. I hope that you all stay warm and safe.

Gina

Gina has been keeping herself busy knitting these two beautiful baby shawls, I absolutely love the pattern you have used Gina,  the pink edging looks so pretty too.

Gina also made this gorgeous card to go with the shawls, using a Lisa Horton Embossing folder, That little baby vest is so cute 😍.

Thank you so much for sharing your makes with us my lovely XXX

Maria

Maria has created this very Majestic Elephant Crystal Art over the past few days.  Maria it must take you absolutely ages to complete something so incredible,  every one of those squares needs filling with a bead, it must make your eyes so tired,  I guess you could do it while watching tv though, do you have a special table or easel ?
What an incredible gift for someone 😍
Thank you so much for sharing it with us Maria X XXX

Thank you so much Maria & Gina for one last Mixed Craft Saturday !!! 😘

I hope that you all stay warm and safe,

Love & hugs to all of you,

Sandra xxx

  1. Hello Sandra and everyone, what talented ladies you are Gina and Maria. Gina I know those beautiful baby shawls will be loved, and the little princess who is wrapped in them will know she’s smuggled with love and care.
Maria, I know I’ve said it before, but you have such patience completing these beautiful works of art. I really don’t think my fingers could cope with doing such intricate work. You always create such masterpieces and I know there will be loved and appreciated.
I hope everyone is able to keep warm and if you have to go out, please take it carefully, even where we are which is relatively sheltered to most of you live we still have lots of ice on the ground, in fact our lawn in the back garden looks like an ice rink. It’s ‘white’ I have no plans to venture out, John has popped to Tesco’s but he said he would go on the bus rather than use the car fortunately we didn’t need very much.
Enjoy your weekend everyone and as I said before stay safe and keep warm. Love and hugs, Brenda XXX

    1. Sandra, I forgot to say I love your little poster. I had to laugh when I looked at it - I thought that is so me, 🤗

  2. Hi Sandra and everyone looking in.
What beautiful shawls and a pretty card you have made Gina. There is no doubt that they will be treasured xx
It has been very cold here today too. But sadly very few cobwebs touched by Jack Frost on the plants outside which I love looking at. Mother Nature can’t be beaten can she when it comes to that 🥰
We are in the middle of taking down the decorations as I have to do it over two days now as I like to put certain things in certain boxes etc. Gem did her best for me last year as I wasn’t able to do it myself but some items still need to be changed back to their rightful boxes but without her noticing me do it. Silly I know as she would be perfectly fine about it and just laugh and tease me about my slightly OCD tendencies 🤭
Stay warm everyone. Take care and love from Sue xx

  3. Hi, sorry it’s late, but just had to say what beautiful works of art from Gina and Maria.

Very cold but no snow, hardest frost we have had for over a year.

Loved the saying, so true of me too.
Keep warm and stay safe . Lilian

  4. Hi everyone
Oh Gina, those shawls are so pretty. It must have taken you some time to make. I envy anyone who can knit because I don't know how to do it and you have also made such a sweet card. Lovely to see.
Thanks for liking my crystal work ladies. This one took a little longer because it is what we say, it's look a lot like a mosaic pattern but I didn't mind for sometimes when it is a big area with just one colour it can be a bit boring.
The weather was alright during the day here but it looks like sleet is coming down and if that freezes I'm not going out tomorrow that's for sure. Take care everyone if you need to go out anywhere. Sleep well and hugs to you all, Maria xx
