Good Monday Morning Ladies,
Ladies please join me in wishing our Lovely Janet the very happiest of Birthdays, I hope that you have a lovely day. I also hope that you had a lovely lunch out yesterday, something so simple feels like such a treat at the moment doesn't it. I hope that you enjoy the rest of your day, will there be cake?? if not I hope that there is some chocolate.
The heavens were shining for your Birthday weekend Janet, we had a beautiful day yesterday, the sun shone all day, Paul went out to sort what used to be our summer house, glass everywhere! It looked so lovely that I decided to go out and 'supervise' lol !! In reality I stacked a few pots and went around cutting back some dead stems, it was so lovely to be out in the sunshine, the sun just makes everything better doesn't it.
Today's card is a quick card, I made it yesterday afternoon, the stamp set is Tasteful Touches, I have had it for ages and used just the sentiment. So I thought I would use the flower and leaf stem, I used one of the background stamps just to give a little bit of detail, I just used 2nd generation stamping as I didn't want anything to take over the flower stamp. Sometimes it's nice to create a no frills stamped card, no layers, no embellishments, just single layer stamped card. The colours I used are Night of Navy and Old Olive, Gray Granite second generation in background.
I hope that you all have a lovely day,
Love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxxxxxx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Janet, have a lovely day π xx
Love your card today, it’s beautiful π
Glad you managed to get out in the garden to tidy up. The weather was lovely, although quite breezy here still, but the sun took the edge off it. We had a tidy up too, it looks so much better, although I’m sure Barney was a bit miffed when he saw all of the sticks had gone πΆπ
Have a good day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx
Morning Everyone
ReplyDeleteThank you for your Birthday Wishes SANDRA.
I haven't opened my cards yet.
Yesterday lunch out was lovely. A nice little Italian restaurant close to us and then back home for feet up to recover from a beautiful lunch. It's the first time we have been to this restaurant as it's not been open for long but it will be visiting it again.
Nothing planned for today so I just might get some crafting done.
HUGS are on their way to you all with extras for all Dear Friends in need.
PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE.xxxx
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JANET
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely relaxing day doing what you’d like
The weather was beautiful here So we walked to our local Morrisons for brunch The simple joy of not having to cook was exciting (yes - my life is that riveting) Their breakfasts are lovely and it’s cheap too If anyone is into football Chelsea lost 11-10 on penalties So OH really got his money’s worth even though his team lost I crafted and watched tv
Your card today is lovely Very classic and suitable for all sorts of occasions
Out dancing tonight providing my LFT is negative

Hello All, very wet here today, although despite all the storms we have had in the last couples of weeks, my camellia tree is covered in blooms. It’s early this but a lovely sight, it’s over 7ft tall, and pinky red.
ReplyDeleteJanet hope you had a lovely day, and many more to come.
Have found a AALL set of stamps , so only one antibiotic left for tomorrow, so I shall use these for this weeks challenge.
Do hope you all had a lovely day. Lilian.
