Good Morning Ladies,
Oh I am loving the sunshine we have been blessed with this past few days, it really does make such a difference to your day, if its raining and miserable I always feel like I want to pull up the duvet and stay snuggled up in bed, but once I get a glimpse of a sunny morning I am up, curtains open, windows open to let that fresh air curculate!! It definitely makes a huge difference to my day mentally, I want to be outside soaking up that Vitamin D. Do you all feel the same?!
I wanted to pot up my Blueberry Bushes today but I need to get some Ericaceous compost for them, so that will have to wait a couple of days, mind you there are plenty more jobs that need doing so we won't be bored!
Today's card is a simple design, featuring my current favourite SU stamp ' Art Gallery ' this stamp is a multi layer stamp but for this simple design I just used the base layer, stamping in Versamark abd then adding White Embossing powder and heat setting. I love the stamp but the star of this show is that Stunning decorative paper, just look at the detail, it looks aa though it is actually textured! The paper collection is called 'Fine Art Floral' the whole collection looks like it is oil painted, I will be ordering more of this one as I am going to be using it a lot!!
I layered my card onto Pool Party card and then onto a white card base, I added a simple knotted piece of pool party ribbon and a 'Thank you' sentiment! Some things are so lovely that you have to let them shine without too much embellishment.
I hope that you all have a lovely day,
Love and hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxxxxx
Morning Ladies
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning card Sandra, I love the colour. Definitely agree with you about the sunshine. We went for a walk again yesterday after I finished work, enjoyable but tiring after over 8 hours on your feet. Luckily I have a management day today-I’m doing some initial training with 2 staff for the Vaccine clinic, the Pfizer one is starting again next week (2nd doses due) and we need more staff trained to cover.

Morning Everyone

We had glorious sunshine yesterday too and yes what a difference it makes.
Today I really must focus on my CC. They need photographing and then sending off so that's my first task.
The CAFE is OPEN as usual and all are welcome to visit.
HUGS are winging their way to you allwith loads of extras for all Dear Friends feeling down.

Beautiful card SANDRA It’s a very pretty stamp and I thought you’d created the background too It looks so textured
ReplyDeleteI much prefer the sun It does cheer me up I just wish my skin did 🙁 Never Mind It is certainly better than that awful rain
I finished a cc yesterday and hope to photograph it and send today
I have a dentist appointment this afternoon A trip out - how exciting Seriously I must stop feeling so anxious about going out
Take care all x
I think quite a few people feel anxious about going out Karen, after being indoors for so long.
DeleteMorning ladies.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Sandra and I love the paper, really thought you had made that background yourself.
Karen- good trip to the dentist. Don't worry, you be fine.
Lilian- I wish everything goes well and if an operation will be had that you soon feel better.
Wish it was some sunshine here in Bucks but it have been hiding away the last few days. Mojo also have a tendency to leave whenever it feels like it but hoping this afternoon it will be back for some hours play.
Have a nice day everyone and hugs are sent for you all xxx
Hello Sandra and ladies,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Sandra I also thought you had created your own background, it’s a perfect backing for the gorgeous Art Gallery flower.
We have rain again today it wasn’t forecast until late this afternoon, I’m sure the weather forecast team would find a way to explain the change. Just glad I didn’t put the washing out to dry.
Yesterday didn’t go to plan, OH came back from shopping minus the meat I had put on the list. (He really isn’t keen on getting meat, anything else is just fine) so we ended up having a trip Over to Wimbledon. Morrison’s over there have a lovely meat counter, I was able to stock up so the freezer is well stocked for quite a few weeks now. I will before the end of this week end up making the Simnel cake.
Hope you’re having a good day ladies, keep well and stay safe.
love and hugs Brenda XXX
Hi Sandra & ladies
ReplyDeleteA lovely card today Sandra.
We’ve no sun here today nor yesterday. It’s quite dull and chilly. I’ll be glad when everything warms up. I’m off to the chiropodist in a few minutes. Then I need to pop and get some milk.
Take care and stay safe everyone.
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous card, the flower is lovely, and I too thought you had created the background 😊
Dull and grey here today, with the odd shower, and feeling quite cold too, so I will be staying in for the rest of the day.
Hope you’re all having a good day. Hugs to you all xxx
Hi, very dull now after a sunny start, R is cutting the grass, it’s growing fast now.
ReplyDeleteSandra love your card, and the first thing I thought was how did you do that background, fabulous paper, all the effects and no mess.
Just put all my food from my Sainsbury’s delivery away, so am feeling pooped.
Hoping your day is going well, Lilian
Hi Dandra and all in the Cafe today. I have to say what a fantastic card/photo Sophie made for you. As you say it is as near to a family portrait you will get, our lot are the same!) especially seeing Milo and Bella are included, as they should be as they are part of the family. I love your curly hair on the picture, bet yours is nearly long enough now that have a curly perm.
ReplyDeleteLike the others I thought you had use texture paste or similar for the background of today’s card. What lovely paper and the flower looks great on it. Yes the sunshine makes me feel much better too xx
I had my first jab yesterday but as my joints are really bad at the moment so any side effects can’t be felt anyway 🤣🤣 Sending love to you all with extras for Lynda Mum and all in need. Take care xx
