A Pop Out Challenge card

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

Well what a glorious weekend were treated to this past couple days, it was so lovely to be out in the garden in the sunshine, we got a few garden jobs done and also got 3 loads of washing dry which made me super πŸ˜„ happy!! I really think that sunshine really does lift your mood.

Sonia I hope Luke & Hayley's move goes smoothly and that they will have lots of happiness in their New Home together  xxx

Today's card is a 'Twist & Pop card, I used some pretty papers from a pad from the Works called 'Sweet Garden Rose, they matched beautifully with Rose Red and Sweet Sugarplum  Card from Stampin'Up!
The front of the card used stamps and dies from the Number Of years Stamp set and matching Dies, the inside of the card has the Stampin'Up! 'Happy Birthday ' Die, letters cut out using my Scan &Cut, the flowers are various SU dies, the label is from the 'Lots of Labels' Framelits set from SU

I did a 'Twist & Pop' Tutorial Video if any of you fancy having a go, I will leave link below.......

I hope that you all have a good day,

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra

  1. Morning Ladies

Sandra-stunning card, I think this style is amazing.

We too had sunshine yesterday, no gardening but our walk took us past the main road leading to the beach which was packed with cars. You’d never have known that we’re still in lockdown!
I got washing dry outside which was great. Did the usual housework but not much else.
Not looking forward to going into work today.

  2. I love this style of card It looks so impressive when the recipient opens it
We had brilliant sunshine all through the weekend No washing out in a line yet though - waiting for OH to put up a new one! I was sorry to read that people appear to be ignoring lockdown MICHELE It’s this “it won’t happen to me” attitude I think
Back to work today So had better get a wriggle on
    Take care all x

  3. Morning ladies,

Great card and very clear video instructions Sandra.

Spent yesterday chilling out cutting and folding more pinwheel strips (only 19 more to go) and in the afternoon watching films and making the flowers up. First film I watched was 42 starring Chadwick Boseman and Harrison Ford which was a bio story about Jackie Robinson, the first African descent Baseball player for the Brooklyn Dodgers team. Very moving story about the bigotry and insults he endured of that time. Second one was Sonic the hedgehog, was pleasant enough to pass the time.

1st March today so 'Pinch, punch, first day of the month, no return'.

    Love 7 hugs

  4. Hi everyone
A gorgeous card today, and thank you for the video tutorial, I’ll be sure to check it out 😊
Glad you had a good weekend, I do agree that the sunshine lifts your mood, it was so lovely to be out and feel the warmth of it......and the bonus of not having to wipe muddy paws after a walk πŸ˜‚πŸΆπŸΎ
Michele, that doesn’t surprise me about all the cars, it’s the same around here with the local park - car park is always full!
Thank you for your kind wishes for Luke and Hayley’s move 😊 I’m Barney sitting at the moment while they do all the heavy work. It already seems so quiet.
Have a lovely day everyone. Sending hugs to you all xxx

Colder outside but still had a walk so feeling a bit better then we thought.
Have some tiding up to do at my work space before starting on any crafting so that's a job for me today.
Have a lovely day everyone whatever you are up to. Hugs xxx

  6. Hello All, dull here today and quite chilly. Trying to sit outside for half an hour each day to boost my vitamin D.

Sandra love your card, strange thing is I was looking at doing a card like this for this weeks c card, will have to watch your video.

Michele it’s the same down here, big crowd of people all picnicking together. Don’t under stand people. Read a report from a nurse , who was in tears after seeing all the people on the beach, as she had just finished a night shift on a Covid ward. Had to feel sorry for her.

Have a good day all. Lilian

  7. Hi Sandra and ladies
Lovely cards on display today Sandra. Somewhere I have 2 that have already been cut out, which we did ages ago.
It was foggy this morning. However, I did manage to go out for a walk this morning. Quite cold out after the sunshine of the weekend. I actually saw some people who I could have a chat to. Haven’t done that for quite a few weeks. I really don’t understand the mentality of people crowding on beaches. Even the parks in London were quite crowded I saw on the news.
Take care and stay safe everyone.

  8. Hello Sandra and ladies,

What a gorgeous card, I have even looked at the video to see how you achieved this brilliant design, your instructions are very clear and it doesn’t seem that complicated to make. Definitely one to try.

Isn’t it stupid how people seem to think it’s OK to go and sit on a beach or in a park in large numbers, do they think that being outside makes them immune to this virus. Mind you I worry about the children going back to school next week, no phasing them in and what about the teachers most of whom have not had a Covid vaccination. Think I had better put my soapbox away!!

Have a lovely evening everyone, take care and stay safe, love Brenda XXX
