Wednesday's Thrinchies partner

Good Friday Morning Ladies,

The Spring Equinox did not disappoint here, we had a lovely day, the sun was so lovely and warm too, still a nip in the air in the shade though.  I was happy to see that you all got to enjoy the sun too.

My day was mostly spent with Paul (which always makes it a good day) I was sat crafting most of the day,  well aside from a 2 hour phone conversation with Matt and then Becca popped round late afternoon to give us a wedding update and give us our next set of tasks,  she managed to find placemats for the tables while she was browsing with Lucy, the girls are ace at getting a good deal too so that saved her some money too, she showed us the place name cards that she wanted and Lucy has already designed the shape on her Cricut.  Becca is off skiing on Monday (🙄😬😞 don't even ask)!!! I think she is mad, given her arthritis etc but it's Adam's favourite thing to do, so she is doing it for him, they are meeting Adam's twin brother and his girlfriend too, first time in a year as they are currently in Australia, so it's double excitement for Adam as he is as close to his twin as the girls are.  Becca has promised me she won't be taking any risks and will stop if she is in pain!   She said when she gets back its 'full on operation wedding '!!!

Today's Thrinchie is the partner to Wednesdays,  Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon & Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide inks added to the background stamp then stamped onto thrinchie, for this one I used the Hare stencil, blending the ink off of the stencil leaving just the outline,  I then stamped the tulips inside the hare, two in black and one stamped in sand dune and coloured with pencils, which I fussy cut and adhered to the thrinchie, I stamped the 'March' as it's a reminder of when I made it and 'March Hare' too.  A few ink splatters and a black mat finish the thrinchie, I think they always look better as a pair too !!

I hope you all have a fantastic Friday,

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra xxx

  2. Another brilliant Thrinchie so much detail on every card.
Hope Becca and Adam enjoy ice skating, I'm sure Becca will be careful. If she is hiring the skates tell her to make sure she asks for a pair that have plenty of ankle support. Our girls used to go to ice skating classes every Saturday morning, the instructors were all professionals, after the classes they would stay for the rest of the morning secession, they both enjoyed the time. I laugh when I about it ….. when they started skating they were also having ballet classes (grandparents treat) the ballet teacher was adamant they couldn’t do both saying ‘ballet dancers don’t ice skate’ so they both chose skating. They were just children having fun. Years away from have blocks in their ballet shoes.
Had a walk around the garden this afternoon, it wasn’t as warm as yesterday but still very pleasant, all the spring flowers are in bloom, it is lovely watching them come back to life.
Hope everyone has had a lovely day. Take care, love Brenda xxx

  3. Hi everyone.
You are our thrinchie queen Sandra. They are all very beautiful and you manage to get so much on a very small area.
Wishing Rebecca and Adam a very good holiday. Where are they going skiing ?
The weather changed a bit from yesterday beautiful sunny day. We went in to town first thing, I wanted a fleecy jacket but couldn't find a thinner version for spring - summer so keep what I got. Did a card for Sunday but not really happy but time ran out so be gentle 🤭😂. Meeting up with a German friend tomorrow . He used to be working for the same company that OH ran in the UK so be a lot of reminiscing between them so might stay at home. I can always find something else to do.
Hoping that you all had a good day. Take care. Hugs to you all , Maria xx
