My Mother's Day card from Lucy

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend, especially yesterday, the weather was very kind to us,  we didn't do anything super exciting,  sadly my lot were all working, apart from Becca who is skiing in Italy, the girls had a super busy day at the Wildlife park,  they almost broke their record high for sales, with the sell out day and the extra hour of work the girls were exhausted when they got in.  Paul and I popped to the garden centre for an hour or so and then had afternoon tea in the beautiful warm sunshine on the decking.

Today I am sharing my amazing Mother's day card from Lucy,  she used her Cricut to create the whole card, even the sentiment!!  I love how the sentiment is cut out with that neat border all around it, the other thing that blew my mind was the Bee's antennae,  they are so intricate and perfectly cut, the design of the card is perfect and all of the elements are cut and placed perfectly,  I feel so proud that my girl is enjoying paper crafting just like her Mum, although her first cards are 1000 times better than mine were 🤣😂

I hope that you all enjoy this last day of March,

Love & hugs to all of you,

Sandra xxx

  2. Hello Sandra and everyone, Lucy‘s card is brilliant. What a clever young lady I think she could certainly give me some lessons.
I hope everyone enjoyed Mother’s Day. I certainly did. We went to Essex to our older daughter’s house both daughters and four grandchildren were there. The two that couldn’t come - one was rowing in Bristol and the other one has got an interview tomorrow for a company in Edinburgh so he was swatting up ready for his interview, I did manage to chat to both of them so that made a lovely Mothers/grandmothers day.
OH is pottering in the garden and has just requested my presence out there, now that sounds a bit ominous ha ha. We’ll go and see what assistance he requires.
Have a lovely day everyone sending big hugs Brenda XXX

  3. Hi Sandra and all looking in. Lovely cards yesterday ladies. Glad you had a nice day xx
We just lounged on the sofa all day. It was sunny but really chilly here. Definitely far too cold and windy to even think of sitting outside. It’s much nicer today, lovely sun and blue sky. I’m just waiting for the call to say the house sale has completed.
Have a good day. Take care. Love Sue xx

  4. Hi everyone
A lovely card by Lucy, think she got the bug too. ,😊
Beautiful, warm sunshine and it will be all week, how lucky are we beginning of April when probably the showers are back so I for one will enjoy it while I can. The crafting has to wait a few days . Do you ladies still have DVD's ? I'm just going through ours and they are meant to go but I can't.
We had a lovely little walk this morning in a area of Mk that we never been to before. Beautiful old buildings and a pub. Drove to a business estate were we had some toast and coffee in a café , the coffee was one of the best ones we had. Popped in to Lidl for some extra bits we needed and it was a torture going past all the Easter chicks etc. 🤭🤗
I hoping that you all have a nice day as possible and if in pain , do try to sit outside in the sunshine and dream of something nice , it can hopefully be a little booster.
    Hugs to you all, xxx
