Good Morning Ladies,
Thursday has come round really fast this week, not that anything really exciting has happened 🙄😂 Tuesday & Wednesday usually go by fast as Lucy is home and we usually go out somewhere, on both days I have fully intended to sit and create when I got home but after a 'quick' browse (2 hours probably) on Pinterest it was time to pack up!
Today I am sharing a journal I created over 3 years ago!
I used Aall&Create #266 Daisy Elegance stamp set, I fussy cut the flower that I stamped on Watercolour card and coloured it with Chromatek pens and a waterbrush, they do seem to blend quite well. I used the same colours on the vase, the background was one of my Alcohol ink backgrounds with a little stamping and stencilling to carry the orange/yellow from the flower to the background. The Tim Holtz Tape in black I used to tie in the black stamping. I popped it into my black journal as the black background made the colours in the card pop!

ReplyDeleteI spent the day trawling the internet for a knitting pattern I have lost my favourite baby pattern and over the weeks/months I keep checking various sites and at long last I have found a replacement It made me smile that Sirdar still make the little boy ones that I have but not the little girl ones I have already knitted a replacement which is just as pretty but it will be nice to have this one back in my collection (hopefully)

The sun is trying it's best to come out but then this black cloud came with a pretty heavy shower. Haven't done anything much this morning. Going for breast screening this afternoon, it's just a check up. OH is watching the footie this evening so might go and do some crafting.

ReplyDeleteLove your journal page, that stamp is great, love the background and the way you have mounted it on black. Are pages all black? That would be good to use for mica powders, which I have loads.

Maria, no news yet ☺️ She’s not due until the 2nd April, but with working and being busy we may not see them again before the baby arrives. It is exciting ☺️
It’s turned very cold again, yesterday we had a very heavy downpour of hailstones. In fact, it’s just started now too!

We went to Asda this morning, came home and put the shopping away, then had lunch, after that I needed to sit down i was exhausted - must move soon and get the dinner on. I had hoped to have enough energy to go into my craft room……..maybe tomorrow!
Sonia you must be so excited waiting the arrival of your new grandchild.
Lilian the weather is similar here, when the sun shines i think i must go up the garden to my greenhouse, I’ve got several packets of seeds i need to sow. Also tomato plants due soon from a grower. I've also got projects ongoing in my craft room…..i need to get a burst of energy from somewhere!!!!
