Watercoloured effect Snippet

Good Wednesday Morning Ladies,

I have to add the day in the greeting to remind myself what day we're on,  it only takes one thing to change in our routine to throw me right out.  Lewis has changed jobs so the nights that they see each other has changed too, he used to come here Tuesday and Soph goes to his on Thursday, now he comes here Monday and she goes there on Wednesday,  so I thought yesterday was Wednesday all day, Thursday will now feel like a Friday as we are used to having Soph home on a Thursday,  all so confusing!!

Lucy and I had a nice couple of hours out, we popped to Stow to pick up some shopping bits and had a wander round. Then Paul and I went out for Tapas to celebrate the anniversary of the day we met, 37 years ago!

Today I am sharing a Snippet, (Tracey made this as a card but I prefer it as a Snippet)  I stamped the text block  masked it and added the flowers, I coloured the flowers and stems with Ecoline pens,  I used two shades of Ecoline in the text box and then spritzed with water and let the colour run, I heat dried when I was happy with the run of ink.  After it was dry I added the letters and the pheasants. I finished with some white splatters and mounted onto a black mat.

I hope you have a good Wednesday,

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra xxx

Thank you ladies for your kind words about my card yesterday It truly is an achievement knowing that Park Run is only once a week
I can’t believe how quickly the time is going when you say that next time you see Teddie he may well have a sister Sonia It only feels like yesterday that you were telling us Mollie was pregnant again
Off to a Knit and Natter group today
    Take care everyone xx

  2. Hi everyone
I like your snippet, lovely colour.
This with confusion of days. I had Sunday all day yesterday so know what you mean.
We went out this morning and when back home I was so cold so sat on the sofa with a blanket around me and soon fell asleep.
I hope that you all have had a good day with whatever you have been doing.
Hugs to you all, Maria xx

  3. Hi Sandra and everyone.
I love the colours you have used on this lovely card. Can you imagine even thinking about letting inks run on a card years ago? It would have not been considered would it. How times change and for the better as it’s just a bit of card and some ink or whatever isn’t it. Not surprised you are all muddled with Soph hanging her days around xx
I’ve had a quiet day at home not doing much just paperwork bits and bobs for Pop. Have a nice evening. Take care. Love Sue xx
