Your Next Challenge

Good Friday Morning My Lovelies,

This week has absolutely whizzed by, I could hardly believe it when I checked what day it was yesterday, I honestly thought that today was Thursday, I think having both Pat and Sue coming over to craft and then Paul's appointment on Wednesday, plus going out with Becca on Monday has made the days go faster.  I also felt like I had a sore throat yesterday but I think it was from talking so much, usually I am pretty much on my own all week so I don't talk to anyone!

Your Next Challenge

I guess it's fairly obvious what this weeks Challenge is, we haven't done a TicTacToe in a few weeks so I thought it was time!
This particular one I am sure we have done before, it's perfect for both Festive and Everyday Occasions.

There are only 9 Weeks to Christmas so we had better get busy with our cards, I keep meaning to have a count of how many I have done so far, I am usually disappointed though because if feels like I have made loads for the blog but when I count up its only around 9 !  I will update you when I have had a look in my boxes.
How many have you all made??  I think that we all say every year that we are going to do a few each month but after a couple of months you are sick of Christmas card making and wanting to start using all the Spring colours.

I hope that you all enjoy this weeks Challenge, I am as always looking forward to seeing your cards.

I hope that you all have a lovely weekend,

Love and hugs to all of you,

Sandra

Great challenge for us for next week-lots of great options on it.

Janet-saw your comment yesterday & panicked as I thought Boris has put us in full lockdown & is missed something. I’m guessing you’re moving up into Tier 3 (like us here in the North West). The shops are still open & you’re allowed out so it’s not too bad.

I got my swan results back yesterday morning -Negative. I’m fact everyone swabbed was negative luckily as I’m not what we would do if that wasn’t the case. Not sure how often we’re going to be swabbed or if it was a “one off” test.

I’m very glad it’s Friday as hubby is due Home today-he’s been away all week again. Plus work has been somewhat difficult this week.

Love the Challenge for next week.Thinking cap will be put on.

MICHELE-sorry I panicked you yesterday.Yes we're going into Tier3. As I've only being going into M&S foodhall on Saturday morning and not ventured into any other shops it will feel just like March for me but on the plus side I just might get some Seasonal cards made lol.
So pleased your swab was negative.
Well another week has flown by and so of course it's that awful 'swear'word day so you all know what I'll be doing today.

The CAFE is OPEN so pop in when you can.
HUGS are winging their way to you all.TAKE CARE AND STAY SAFE xxxx

  3. Hello everyone, grey and misty here today. Sorry I missed yesterday, The day seemed to fly by. Getting very little sleep at the moment, which is making me a bit forgetful.

Sandra yesterday’s cards were beautiful, love that delicate look, when I see vellum cards it reminds me of my sister who used to love to do these cards.

Great choice for this week, I’ve only don a handful of Christmas cards, so must get a move on. Not sure what we will be doing this year, as we usually go to our daughters in London, will have to wait and see.

Well I better go still have prep to do for my craft retreat ( virtually). Hope you all have a good day. Lilian

  5. Hi Sandra & ladies
I usually get my days my Ed up as well Sandra. Although I have known the days this week I don’t remember the date when I’ve had to write it down. Must be an age thing because every time I’ve had to write the date the person where I am has told me the date. Covid related obviously. My washing machine is telling me it’s finished it's cycle so that needs to be put out. Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain. The forecast for here isntbsaying rain but that’s nothing to go by.
    Take care & stay safe.

Great tic tac toe challenge for next week.
This week has gone very fast. I’m off work this weekend and Monday/Tuesday, so I’m hoping to catch up with housework and some much needed sleep. Fingers crossed for some crafting too.

  8. Hi Sandra and ladies
I like the cc you chosen for next week. Hoping so I can join in ,don't like to let you down.
Started alright with x-mas cards as I was with 'make a x-mas card a week' but like you say Sandra it fizzled out in the end.
Glad your results was negative Michele. Have a nice weekend together.
Lynda- sorry to see you didn't get any dinner the other night, what did you manage to have ? Perhaps Terry can help you make a space so you can do something in your craft room.
    Big hugs for you both.
I only know it's Friday for our Janet doing her swearword and a new cc is up otherwise the days are rolling in to eachother and like Lilian and you Sandra I normally can't sleep very well but at the moment I can't stay awake ?!
I hope you all have a good day and many hugs are being sent for you all xxx
