Your Challenge Cards

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

You have made some lovely cards for our 1 stamp/Die 2 Ways Challenge, you are so inspirational, just look......

Brenda

Brenda has used her fantastic 'Crazy Birds' stamps to create her Challenge card along with the 'Wavy Lines' mask.

Brenda's first card uses the wave lines mask with Gold Glitter paste pushed through,  this gives such an incredible effect, Brenda has then used one of the Crazy Birds with a Graduation 🎓 cap, and the die cut words 'Well Done You'.  Such a brilliant well done card, that would make the recipient both smile and feel proud of their achievements.

Brenda's 2nd card features the same 'Wavy Lines' mask, with gold glitter paste, this time on red card, which gives a totally different look.  Brenda also used a 'Crazy Bird' on this card too, rhis one is wearing a Santa Hat, you just can't help but smile when you look at the little cuties.  The 'HoHoHo' couldn't be more perfect!!
Thank you so much for two amazing Challenge cards my lovely, sending hugs XXX

Lilian

Lilian had designed two stunning cards, one Get Well Soon card  and a gorgeous Christmas card, voth using the same Circle Die and Stamperia papers.
The first card uses some stunning Red card upon which Lilian has placed a piece of white card that has been embossed with a Snowfall embossing folder,  this forms the background,  the focal element of the card is that Stunning Stamperia Christmas scene, I love it Lilian! Placing rhe die cut on that red scalloped die cut really makes the colours pop. Lilian used a Spellbinders Border die to finish thd card along with the sentiment.

Lilian's second card uses the same Circle die for the focal element of the card, this time using a pretty frame die around the image. The colour palette of this card compliments the colours in the pretty paper.

Thank you so much Lilian for two stunning cards  you make me want the entire Stamperia Collection.  😂🤣XXX

Janet

Two fantastic cards from Our Janet for this weeks Challenge. Both use the 'Nutcracker Boy' from the Phill Martin as the focal element.

Janet's Description:

"Here are my CC for this week and my Calendar Michele kindly sent to us.

The birthday card was made using STAMPERIA papers and embellishments. The 'Nutcracker' boy is a PHILL MARTIN stamp

The Seasonal card was made using Nutcracker boy which is the PHILL MARTIN stamp he released a few months ago."

Thank you so much Janet for taking part in this weeks challenge,  that Nutcracker boy works perfectly with the Alice characters. XXX

Michele

4 yes 4 Amazing cards from Michele for our Challenge this week.  Michele has used the Free gift from the Die Cutting Essentials Magazine, such amazing results from a Freebie!!

Michele's Description:

"4 challenge cards from me!!  All using the same die. Added bling & various sentiments".

Thank you so much Michele for creating 4 inspirational Challenge cards. XXX

Karen

Two gorgeous designs from Karen for this weeks challenge. Two completely different ways to use the Tag dies, at first glance you wouldn’t realise that the same item had been used.

Karen's Description:
Here’s 2 cc using a tag die from SueW
The birthday card is a bit of a take on a Julie Hickey card using one of her flower stamps and die and script stamp on an inky DO background and a few Nuvo drops and printed sentiment
The Christmas card is a printed sentiment to fit the tag die on paper from Lidl and SueW ribbon/bow die

Thanks so much Karen for two amazing Challenge cards XXX

Yesterday was a totally relaxing chill out kind of day and boy did we both need it, we really didn't do anything other than the usual every day essentials. We both read a little, I chatted to my sister in the morning.  I am planning on going into my craft room today, I am always loathed to say that as something always happens and I don't get in thete, here's hoping!!

I hope that you all have a lovely day too

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra

  2. Lovely cards ladies It really challenged me at first and didn’t know where to start I just happened to see Julie Hickey demo-ing on Hochanda which inspired me
So pleased you had a relaxing day SANDRA You needed it
Had a bit of a rough night tossing and turning I go back to my old team tomorrow but to a job I have never done before There’s a few of us that this has happened to or been re-deployed to new teams due to the pandemic and got told (ordered back) to their usual team but doing something completely different to their usual role So in effect I will feel like the “new” girl I’m not looking forward to it
I hope to finish a bit more crochet and catch up on some shows I have recorded In fact I've got the film JUDY to watch - anyone else seen it
Have a good day everyone Take care

  3. Morning Ladies

What a fantastic selection of challenge cards today.

Yesterday stayed fine (not nice enough to dry my washing) sowe went for a walk down to the beach).
Today is a dull day-we have a couple of tidy up jobs to do in the garden. Hubby has a work phone call due at 4pm. He had a couple of work calls yesterday-luckily while we were at home. I’m hoping to get in my craft room again sometime today.

  4. Morning ladies,

Beautiful cards to gladden my heart this morning.

Well what a funny old month October has been for me so far. Visit to my sister and BIl meant a visit to Walsall manor and Wolverhampton New Cross hospitals following my heart attack. Angioplasty and follow up therapies all arranged for the Walsall area until I asked them to read my address and then the penny dropped......I live in Somerset. All this despite me telling all and sundry where I come from lol. Discharged to the care of Sis ans Bil then Bev drove me and my car home last Saturday and stayed til yesterday. On the Sunday I developed extreme allergy reactions with itching and nausea to the new heart tablet prescribed by the consultant in Walsall which meant almost my whole body being covered from chin to knee (including arms) that there was not even a pin prick of normal skin left to see. Now finally going as the high dosages of antihistamines and steroids have conquered it. Never ever want to experience that again. #
On advice from my practice nurse my flu jab has been delayed a couple of weeks to allow my body to recover.

Apart from that, I am still alive and extremely glad to be so and now have to look forward to 6 weeks of recovery and recuperation. Cannot drive until ok'd by my doctor.

However you feel I hope your day is kind to you.
    Love 7 hugs

  7. Hello Sandra and ladies,
I did comment yesterday but when I looked it wasn’t there, I knew for sure I had left a comment but where? Found at the bottom of Fridays comments - my excuse is I was not in a good place. My dear friend I mentioned on Fridays blog died that evening, amongst our group of friends she has always been the fit one, I still can’t believe how quickly from being diagnosed to her passing away.

Today’s challenge cards lare brilliant and so full of inspiration.

Cheryl. What a dreadful time you have had, I hope that you are able to manage now that you are safely back home and have friends and family close by who are able to help you. Take care.

Dinner is almost ready, so I will get a wiggle on.

Take care everyone and stay safe, Love Brenda xxx
