Good Morning Ladies,
Not sure where yesterday disappeared to, I spent a good portion of the day on the phone to Becca discussing Table plans, then sorting holiday, hotels and booking Channel Tunnel, luckily I emailed the company we book our holiday through to see how much they could do the return crossing for, the emailed back and I saved £80 !!! It felt like a real win!! I needed the uplift as am feeling the 'effects' of 3 courses of antibiotics in 3 weeks! Despite taking large doses if pre & pro biotics!
I ended up making a quick card yesterday after getting Paul to pick a mumber, he chose 016
The colours I matched with these colours are...
Mustard: Fossilised Amber Oxide
Flame : Crackling Campfire Oxide
Camel : Frayed Burlap Oxide
Olive : Forest Moss Oxide
I used a clear oval stamp to create the ovals and used the Frayed Burlap, Crackling Campfire and Fossilised Amber for those, I then added a little flower sprig stamped in Forest Moss, the sentiment was Forest Moss too.
A simple card but a great way to get used to the color cube combinations. I am feeling a mixed media type project next.
I hope that you all have a lovely Thursday,
Love & hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxx
Great card And woull look d you have normally gone for that colour combination? The cube is certainly making me think outside of the box!
ReplyDeleteWe had a lovely day in London but O was very disappointed with the show - Bat Out of Hell The orchestra and singing was soooo loud it became screechy and distorted The guy playing Strat definitely had Turkey Teeth and when he smiled he looked like Ken Dodd Definitely not a fan! I’m not a fan of the theatre either It’s a modern one and in my opinion it is very badly designed/laid out
I can be a bit of a stickler for spelling/corporate grammar and one of their notices had a spelling mistake Instead of saying “refrain from singing” it said “reframe from singing” If we were in a foreign country and the English translation turned it into that but in London! I found it embarrassing
As we are going away on Saturday for a week today will be listening to making day! Clothes to pack, equipment/toys to pack, food to take and food to buy when we get there!
Take care everyone xx
List making day!
DeleteHi Sandra and all looking in. A pretty card yesterday, interesting to see what a difference the other colours make. Lovey card today. What is that sentiment. Is it one from the set of “hand written” stamps? I love that font xx
ReplyDeleteMigraine yesterday so didn’t even get downstairs. Not sure what I’m at today yet. Hope to get to see you Sandra today or tomorrow 🤞🏻
Have a good day everyone. Take care. Love Sue xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteBack on to web version because the other way didn't work again so lost my post.
Nice card with the colours from the box. Nice choices of ink's.
I'm hoping to get into the craft room later on but have the doctors first and then Skype with my parents.
Karen, sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the musical yesterday .
Are you going somewhere nice for your holiday ?
Sue, hope you are feeling better today. Take it easy, if you can.
Have a good day everyone. Keep well and hugs to you all xxx
Hi, everyone another lovely day. Been out planting tubs most of the day.
ReplyDeleteAnother great card Sandra, you seem to have no trouble matching the colours which is my main concern.
Karen sorry you were disappointed with shows. R would agree with you re bad spelling, he is always complaining about mistakes when he’s reading the news on his iPad.
Have a good night all. Lilian
PS Sue hope you feel better soon.
