Good Friday Morning Ladies,
I hope that today finds you well, or as well as can be expected, sending gentle hugs to anyone that needs one, I say that as I could do with one this week, Gp are so frustrating, especially when you genuinely suffer with Anxiety, I did ask yesterday if we were ok to go on holiday, to which he replied yes everyone needs a holiday! That wasn't what I wanted to hear!
Anyway on to cheery things, I decided to use the Spots/Stripes elements of the TicTacToe Challenge for todays card, I used my SU Bright & Beautiful dsp for this card, the striped paper is the reverse of those spots. I adhered both pieces to a piece of Black card stock leaving a narrow border around both pieces. I die cut the heart in white and 'friend' in white background with narrow black piece on top. I stamped the 'Thank you' in black and added above the friend die cut, 3 small diamanté finish the card.
I hope that you all have a lovely end to your week,
Love and hugs,
Sandra xxx
You really need to speak to a different doctor I thought there was a female one that you found very sympathetic? Definitely talk to practice manager about how your latest visit was handled
ReplyDeleteYour card is gorgeous Very bright and cheery which we all need occasionally I love that heart die
I am going to experiment with ScanNCut today
Sending huge hugs to you and others that need one xx
Hi, sunny but chilly, was hoping to fill my hanging baskets today, but back is playing up again, so will have to do them tomorrow .
ReplyDeleteAnother great card Sandra, love those papers. Started a tag today but I think it will have to go in the bin, stamped some writing, but didn’t check it was dry , so I smudged it.
Hope you are feeling better now.
Karen do you use your scan and cut much ? I have one but have not used it much shall be interested to see what you do.
Have a good afternoon/ evening, Lilian
Hi Sandra and all looking in. A lovely bright and cheerful card to match the bright and cheerful day today. Adding that delicate white heart adds so much to it without fighting the paper designs. I hope you manage to get some decent help from your surgery xx
ReplyDeleteI’m in the middle of changing Chris’s / spare bedroom at the moment. Jobs like this that would have been done and dusted in a day take days if not weeks now, a frustration that most of us have to live with now I know!!!
Enjoy the lovely evening. Take care. Love Sue xx
Lilian, sorry that I forgot to say that it’s sad to hear your back is so bad again today. 🤞🏻tomorrow is a better one for you xx
ReplyDeleteHello everyone, love today’s card, the skinny heart brings it all together, thank you for your brilliant inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYour GP sounds as though he should go on a patient caring course. It sounds as though he doesn’t listen to what his patients are saying to him.
Take care everyone. Love and hugs Brenda xxx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteLove this very colourful card. That sweet heart is lovely.
Had an outing to Frost this morning. Bought a few more plants for some pots and got the car washed while we had a coffee.
Did a card this afternoon but I need to sort the room out next or I have no space left to be crafting on 🙂. Hoping that you had a good day everyone. Get better soon Lilian, I do feel for you. Take care. Hugs to you all, Maria xx
