Good Monday Morning Ladies,
I hope that you all have a great start to your week!
Our Sunday just disappeared, we were up and about, had a leisurely breakfast, I made up a cotswold crunch seeded Sourdough loaf and then baked the one I made on Friday, we were pottering around preparing to go out in the garden when Becca called and asked if we'd like to go and try Adam's new 'Mediterranean Sunday Roast', well we weren't going to say no to that, so I then had to go shower and wash my hair (it was perfectly fine for a day in the garden but not going to our Becca's hotel), we both got showered and changed and set off. She asked if we minded sitting in the garden area at the front, so that people could see how good it looked! 🙄 Luckily the weather was glorious so it wasn't a chore!
The food was delicious, such a great twist on a roast dinner, we had Paprika Roasted Potatoes, Yorkshire pudding & Gravy, Roasted Mediterranean Vegetables, we then had a selection of Lamb shoulder that just melted in your mouth, Bbq steak and Pork.
I was that excited to try everything I forgot to take photos before we started!
It enjoyed every bite, a really love summer alternative to the traditional Sunday Roast.
We didn't get home until almost 5pm as Adam & Becca came out to sit with us after they finished their shifts, it was lovely catching up with them both, so many people stopped to chat with them while we sat there, its lovely to see how loved they both are in that small community.
So today's card was very quickly put together after we got home, I picked a background that I had made a few weeks using Distress Spray Stains, this combination shouted 'Sunset' at me, so I used an Inkylicious stamp that I haven't used before, I stamped it in black and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then added a black mat and mounted into a white card base.
I hope you all have a great day,
Love & hugs to all,
Sandra xxx

Karen your cards were great.
Didn’t get much done yesterday as my back is really bad.
Have a good all. Lilian
Hi Sandra and all looking in.
ReplyDeleteYour food looks delicious. So fresh and tempting. And lovely for you both to get some time with Becca and Adam xx
Beautiful cards over the weekend. I didn’t realise I had missed both days! We had a busy weekend changing Chris’s bedroom around and having a good sort out. I say we but as usual it was Chris and Gem doing all of the lifting and moving. Still feeling the affects of the bits I did though.
Have a good day everyone. Take care. Love Sue xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteFabulous card, I love those colours.
The food looks absolutely delicious. Nice you had a good time together. I hope that you got help today.
We went out this morning but I was glad being back home so I went for a nap but all afternoon has been a blur.
Hugs to you all, Maria xx
Hello Sandra and everyone
ReplyDeleteLovely card, the blending is perfect for this design.
How lovely to be invited to test Adam‘s Mediterranean Sunday roast, Im sure he valued your opinion, looking at the photographs it looks absolutely delicious.
Spent some time in the garden this afternoon, everything is coming along very nicely, but no way near as advanced as your garden (going by the photos you posted last week)
Take care everyone, love Brenda xxx
