Time for a New Challenge..

Good  Friday Morning Ladies,

Here we are on the very last day of May, at the beginning of this month Paul and I were getting impatient to get planting done, but we had to follow the rules around not risking planting out until 'May was out', the laugh is that with the wedding and the weather we will be lucky if everything is planted by the end of June!  I wonder what weather June will bring us?

We are so looking forward to a relaxed weekend (apart from the planting), having nowhere to go and nothing to shop for, our next big event is holiday in August, no doubt that will be here in no time.  Do you ladies have any big events to look forward to?

Of course we have 'The' Wedding next September, Becca wants to get 'Save the Dates' our soonish, now that Emily & Mat's wedding is over I feel okay about turning my attention to Becca & Adams wedding.

Our New Challenge

I couldn't decide on any particular challenge this week, I am sorry it has been so long since I have set a new one.

I thought a TicTacToe would be a good choice as there is literally something in there for everyone, from a beautiful card made with Stamperia papers from our Janet to a gorgeous Butterfly adorned card from Sonia, pretty florals from Maria  and Lilian or a more mixed media look from Karen with her Snippets and Thrinchies.

I have tried to add enough categories to cover everybody's style.  Please don't feel pressured into sticking to particular lines, just pick whichever 3 categories you fancy.

My only aim is to encourage you all to get using all of your lovely craft stash.

I look forward to seeing all of you tomorrow as we welcome in the first day of June,

Love and Hugs to all of you,

Sandra                                                                                                                                                        xxxxxx

  1. Love the ideas in the new challenge and I’m going to be strict with myself and try and stay in a straight line either vertically, horizontally or diagonally
Your body needs to recover so you definitely need to rest this weekend
We don’t have any huge events coming up apart from going to a Jive weekend in Windsor starting today and a bowls trip in July
We had great fun with the boys yesterday I know I am exceptionally lucky at being able to see them fairly regularly
    Take care everyone xx

  2. Hi everyone
Looking good that tic tac toe challenge. Sorry no card made yet. I started one yesterday but wasn't happy with the end result so I gave up 😞. Today I am suffering with bad IBS so am completely out of it.
No plans for anything is planned. We like to see the children but going to try to get Son and his girlfriend over here and step-son have hopefully sold his flat in Colchester, fingers crossed 🤞so he will be over to sort things out so we can then meet up.
It's raining here, a very wet day 🤒 not making me feel good either.
I hope you have a nice day and many hugs are being sent to you all, take care everyone , Maria xxx

  3. Hi everyone
Great tic tac toe challenge 😊
We’re looking forward to Teddy’s 1st Birthday tomorrow and his little party 😊 Been a few weeks since we last saw him, so I can’t wait ☺️
I hope you have a relaxing weekend and manage to get some planting done. Fingers crossed the weather improves, it’s really chilly here today and cloudy!
Sending hugs to you all xxx

  4. Hi Sandra and all looking in. My comment yesterday seems to have vanished so want to say again how pretty your card was. I love that paper and also the tryptic(?) look. The piece of ribbon finishes it off beautifully.
I hope you and Paul have a good weekend when you haven’t got to get dressed up or watch the clock. Your plants will thrive if we keep on with the rain and Sun we are having at the moment wont they. And weeding will be easier this year in the raised beds. This weeks tic tac toe looks really good so I’m hoping to get crafting. Little bit limited as I have done something to my right thumb so it’s strapped up for a couple of days Glad Pop didn’t need an X-ray yesterday in the end but he has a chest infection. He is sounding much brighter today than yesterday when he let me go shopping and take him food and drinks up to him in bed without complaint so I knew he was feeling rough. Like Karen I am so lucky to see our mob often. They were all here Tuesday and they loved fishing on Wednesday with the usual moans when we said it was time to go home. Grandad was the only one to catch anything but they just enjoy anyone catching anything and the time spent together🥰
I hope everyone is ok. Have a good weekend. Take care. Love Sue xx
