Sonia's Adorable Christmas card

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

Well that was a wild weekend,  people round here will be ok for logs for their fires for most of 2025!  There were loads of fallen trees, Matt tried a few different routes to get to ours to pick up some parcels,  the only 'open' road had a fallen tree being help up by power lines!   Thankfully he got here and home safely.

We spent yesterday putting Christmas tree up and other bits,  listening to Christmas songs, the girls came home early too, which was lovely,  the park was closed again yesterday.  They were putting their trees up too, Soph goes all out in her room, she has all of our old foil decorations,  also some really old ones from my Mums, it looked very oriental circa 1980's.  She loves it ! 🤣😂

Sonia allowed me to share this adorable card that she made for family.  Everything about it is perfect,  from the soft pastel colours to the super cute characters.  Guaranteed to warm someone's heart this Christmas 😍

Thanks Sonia for allowing me to share XXX

I hope that you all have a great start to the week,

Love and hugs to all,

Sandra xxx

  2. Hi Sandra and all looking in today.
Some It’s great to see the beautiful cards over the weekend and todays is so cute, I love the pretty pastels you have chosen Sonia x
Sandra, I hope the roads around you have all been cleared now so Paul and Lucy get to work safely xx
Early hours of Saturday morning the fence panel that is/should be attached to the house was blown half over but luckily Chris heard it and between him and Gem managed to hold it back in place with ratchet straps and rope, he is very good at knots luckily. We need two new fence posts but the panels are all ok thankfully. We got off so lightly compared to so many poor people. I lost most of the weekend to migraines both days so the grands didn’t get to decorate the tree or their Christmas cakes yesterday which was such a shame. I am off to the house shortly to get the boiler serviced amongst other things. Have a good day. Take care. Love Sue xx

  3. Hi everyone
Thank you for sharing my card. I’ve made it for Luke and Hayley 😊
The little penguins - coloured with ProMarkers - are from the December Duo stamp and die set by Mama Elephant. The trees are from The Stamp Market, all purchased from Dies to Die For. The circle frame with hearts is from one of Sue Wilson’s die sets, but I can’t remember what it’s called.
I hope you’re all keeping well and having a good day whatever you’re doing.
Sending hugs to you all xx

  4. Hi everyone
A beautiful card Sonia, it's so sweet with the two penguins ❤️
It was a bit calmer today with even a few sunstrays but not long before the rain came again so it was a good chance to make some Christmas cards and I'm getting there but I keep change the idea so it takes it time 🤭
Put a few bits of Christmas ornaments and Santa of course 😊
I hope you all had a good day. Warm hugs to you all, Maria xx x

  5. Hello everyone, Sonia your card is beautiful, just right for your son and partner. Great colouring, I’m no good with pro markers.

Luckily we didn’t have any damage in the storm, a few things thrown about in the garden.
Lots of trees down here, felt so sorry for a farmer from west Cornwall who had 10 cows who were killed when they were sheltering by a hedge when a power cable came down and killed.

Hope to do some more Christmas cards tomorrow. Night Lilian
