Kraft Christmas

Good Morning Ladies,

I hope today finds you as well as possible,  have you all got Festive plans this weekend??   We have my sister and her husband coming over for a 'pre-Christmas family dinner', it will be lovely for me as all of my brood at the same table, which doesn't happen often enough,  in fact to me that will be the best gift ever!  Only Emily can make it this time, which is a bit sad,  Claire and Dave are just too busy this weekend.  Although 10 of us is plenty, we are having Roast Beef & Chicken and all the trimmings,  we didn't want turkey a week or so before we have it for Christmas.

I had my scans yesterday afternoon,  just the wait now for results,  I honestly don't think I have any dignity left, with My bladder clinic appointments, gynecology appointments, hysteroscopy,  coil fitting and this scan (inside & out), a bit like when we have babies,  nobody looks at your face in that situation 🤣😂

Today's card will probably be my last Christmas card for this year, I thought I would make this last one a simple one,  my goodness Ladies if you could see the state of my desk after this last weeks crafting,  its the surrounding areas too, on the floor beside my desk, the window sill etc, so I must have a big reorganise today,  get a lot of Christmas stuff put away, although I want to leave some out for making some tags.                                                             I used the 'Lovely as a Tree' stamp set,  simply stamped onto linen effect card in Versamark and embossed with Gold embossing powder, I added the sentiment in the same way, adding some twine and some Red gems to embellish, I mounted onto Kraft card for a change.

So what shall we move onto for our next Challenge??

I hope you all have a good day,

Love & hugs to all of you,

Sandra xxx

  2. Hi everyone
Gorgeous CAS card. I can say because you showed it to me that you win in the messiest craft table 😂🤣. You will be busy to put it away somewhere.
Sorry missed you yesterday but sister in law came up for the day and they ended up staying much later because she suddenly felt poorly, luckily she felt better after a few hours so they could go home but it was worrying for a while.
This afternoon I saw a physio and it was as I thought, she gave me exercises to do and if I could go swimming or water aerobics but I have done that before and I'm not keen at the moment. We are going soon to IKEA for a little Lucia celebration and some early dinner so must get a wiggle on. Hope you are all alright and aches and pains are lower today. Sending you lots of hugs, take care xxx

  3. Hi Sandra and all looking in. A beautiful card to finish your Christmas cards this year. That tree is just gorgeous and I think it is one of the stamps that encouraged you to join Stampin up wasn’t it. I hope you get your results soon them you can start the new year knowing what is what. Have a good weekend with Emily and Matthew xx
Maria, can I ask what or who Lucia is and what is the celebration? Sorry if I have missed you explaining it before. I will look it up. No matter what I hope you enjoyed yourself xx
Karen, I haven’t heard about Lapland UK so can only guess but will be looking this up too. I’m sure the boys will be enchanted with it all 🥰xx
I’m curled up with a hot water bottle as I’m feeling rough and my feet are freezing. Another day of not getting anything done but it will all happen at the weekend. We are more ahead than usual already thanks to Gem, bless her.
Have a good evening. Take care. Love Sue xx
