Good Saturday Morning Ladies,
I hope that you are all ok after the hectic days of the festivities, to be honest when everyone has gone home and back to work it can leave you feeling a little blue. We get so excited looking forward to these events and they are over in a flash. I just want you all to know that I am always at the other side of a message or call. 😘

I wasn't sure what to do for today's post, I finally got see Becca, she came over for the afternoon which was lovely, we watched Gavin and Stacey again (as Becca didn't see it on Christmas day) so I ended up in tears at the end of that (not as bad as when I watched it on Christmas day), then Beaches was on, another incredibly indulgent films, that focus on the true power of real heartfelt Friendship, so that was me bawling my eyes out again!!! I just put it down to my Hormones but I'm the same any kind of soppy film is on.
Consequently I haven't gotten round to unboxing my Switch machine yet.
Do any of you have any new Crafts or Craft Techniques that they'd like to try in 2025, something you have wanted to try for years but not gotten around to starting?
I would actually like to start and complete a Journal, like a junk journal or something, I have been "going to" start one for the past five + years!! So 2025 will be the year.
I may make the feature of our Saturday Blog as we really don't have that many 'mixed Crafts' anymore.
I would LOVE to hear from you with anything you'd like to see in the new year.

ReplyDeleteSorry I’ve been quiet again for a while. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas with your families.
I know what you mean Sandra, we spend so much time preparing and looking forward to the big day, that it’s all over in a flash, and you end up feeling quite down! Unfortunately our plans didn’t go as expected, and at this time we’re still waiting to be able to go to Dorset and spend another Christmas Day with James, Mollie and Teddy. They all came down with a sickness bug (Teddy and Mollie had it really bad) and although I’ve offered to go down and help, they’ve advised me not to as don’t want me getting it too. Fingers crossed we’ll get down there before I’m back to work.
My score on your quiz is 3 - I don’t actually own a glue gun, and I can’t remember spilling paint on the floor 😊
I’m glad you got to spend time with Becca. Another confession from me, is I’ve never watched an episode of Gavin and Stacey! Probably in the minority 😂 I do however love the film Beaches and did record it yesterday, it’s a real tearjerker and I know I’ll end up crying so will keep that one to watch by myself ☺️ Mark and I chilled all day yesterday and had a movie day. We watched Carry On and That Christmas on Netflix and Red One on Prime, all of which were very good.
I’m still not completely back to crafting, so I’d just be happy to see anything that will motivate me to get back to it. Mark got me some alcohol markers so I’m looking forward to playing with them, and any hints and tips on colouring/shading would be most appreciated. I’ve had a quick look on YouTube and Google so that will help me too ☺️

Hello, missing family, they went home yesterday. To day we have been eating leftovers. As you say it’s all over too quickly. I made a card today to take my mind off feeling down.
