Lilian's Beautiful Christmas card

Good Monday Morning Ladies,

Wheeew, what a weekend!!!  I love having our family around us,  seeing how proud Paul is talking about Matt and the girls really warms my heart, they all came to spend a few hours with Grandma and then Paul's brother came, we haven't seen Darren for over a year so it was lovely to catch up.  However after they all left at 7pm I was ready to collapse!  I retreated to my bed for an hour just so I didn't have to make conversation as I was too tired🤣😂.

This morning we are setting off early to get the last of the food shopping and last minute gifts, then home to do wrapping!  What do you all have planned for today?

Today I am sharing the stunning card that I received from Our Lilian,  the background is so beautiful....

I have tried to capture the shimmer that Lilian has added to the snowflakes and stars, it captures the light and looks so pretty  the added trees stamped along the bottom work so well,  it looks like a winter wonderland. Thank you so much Lilian for such a lovely card XXX

I hope that you all have a lovely Monday,

Love & hugs to all of you,

Sandra xxx

  1. Hi everyone
Sorry that I missed you yesterday but I did have a quick look in the morning and thought the cards were lovely Karen, Lilian and Sandra but we were going down to Colchester for the day and stayed one night in a hotel so forgot to come back to comment. My stepson were over for a few days to sort out a new company to sell his flat. Not been sold for over a year now so he is a bit dishearted. It's a nice one bedroom one but I think the problem is that it's four others for sale at the same time and no movement at all. Fingers crossed that these people will do it.
We got home about an hour ago and the washing machine is on already. Walking around the neighbours tonight with their cards.
I hope you all have a good day and shopping food and finishing off the presents goes well. Lilian, the Xmas 🎄 card for Sandra is beautiful.
Many warm hugs to you all, Maria

  2. Hello everyone,
Lovely card from Lilian, her artwork is always beautiful.
Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend entertaining the family.
Did you manage to get all of your food shopping Sandra? John went to Asda yesterday he said so many of the shelves were empty, fortunately he was able to get the few items on our list, we didn’t need much as we will be spending Christmas at our daughters in Essex.
Today I have been wrapping the remaining Christmas presents, I think it’s all done now, we have so many bags, boxes in the hall waiting to be picked up tomorrow, hope there’s room for us in the car as well 🫣
When we get to Essex grandsons want to make gingerbread houses, something we have done since the eldest (he is now 27) was a toddler, I have been stocking up on sweets to decorate them for a few weeks now!!
Sending you all my very best Christmas Wishes, Love Brenda xxx

  3. Hello, sorry late again.
Thanks for showing my card , glad you liked it.
My Sainsbury’s shopping arrived, short of milk and Christmas cake, which is a bit poor as you only have at Christmas. But going y the news I think I got off lightly.
Time to try and get some sleep, so I’ll say goodnight.. Lilian
