Good Wednesday Morning Ladies,
We had an early start to the day yesterday as I had to go get my 24hr ECG fitted, it was a chilly start to the day and sitting on those cold leather seats in the car is like torture, thankfully they are heated seats so they soon warm up and I was so glad they did. The fitting of the monitor only took couple of minutes, oddly she had to rub my skin with sandpaper before attaching the stickers. I have to return this morning to have it removed.
Today's card is another simple one, I used another piece of the core-dinations card, this time in green, I ran it though a Christmas sentiment Embossing folder and then lightly sanded the tops off the embossing, revealing the white core. To finish the card I stamped a Tim Holtz sentiment onto white card and die cut with a flag tailed label, I added some twine around the top of the tag to tie in the Kraft card colour, I added a piece of braided twine behind the label for interest.
Here is a closer look at the Embossing.
A lovely card You are giving me so many great ideas I just need to get my backside into gear!
ReplyDeleteHaving a bit of a nightmare with my diabetes control at the moment Who knew that taking a couple of paracetamol could make the sensor give false readings Waiting for nurse to phone me again
Take care everyone xx
Hi everyone
ReplyDeleteA great card Sandra. Like Karen I really need to get a kick in the backside. I can't get anything together. Just sitting at the table and fiddling around. Have written down today how many cards I need that are handmade and I'm so behind once again. Trouble is that OH wants to go out in the morning and by the time we are back I am so tired, this is fibro for you.
Karen, I hope that the nurse can help you out with the pump . Take care.
Lilian, how are you doing , The back any better. ? I'm going to physio in a couple of weeks. Only hoping they not just giving me exercises to do for I know what will happen.....
Hope that you all have a nice day. Take care. Hugs to you all xxx
Hi Sandra and all looking in. Another simple but effective card with that lovely embossing folder and sentiment too. I definitely need to sort out my sentiment stamps or more like the verse type ones, not sure what they are called as I don’t have many that are nice.
ReplyDeleteI’m still waiting to get to my desk as my joints are not playing nice at the moment so I am behind with my cards too but that’s nothing new! Have a good evening. Take care. Love Sue xx
Hello Sandra and everyone, another lovely inspiring card today and of course in my favourite colour, you are really inspiring me, thank you xxx
ReplyDeleteKaren I hope the nurses manage to sort out your pump and things are going well for you again.
Maria like you I’m having trouble with so many distractions getting on with my Christmas cards hopefully things will improve before the end of the week.
Sue I sympathise with you not been able to get on with your cards because of your joint pain, I’m sure mine is not as bad as yours, but my left shoulder, knee and lower back are really giving me sleepless nights, I keep using the cream and pain relief doctor gave me, but it wares off after a few hours, stay strong you will get through.
Take care everyone, hugs Brenda xxx
Hello all, another dark and cold day.
ReplyDeleteHope all ok with monitor, did you have your coil fitted today.
Lovely card, like everyone else I really do need to get my cards done. I’m not good at Christmas cards , not sure why.
Karen hope you get your monitor sorted.
Like all of you my joints are so painful I find it difficult to concentrate.
Hope you have all had a good day. Lilian
