Your Challenge Cards

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

I hope that you all had some sunshine mixed in with those showers yesterday,  the weather just couldn't make it's mind up yesterday,  by the time that we noticed the sun and got our shoes on ready to go and do some jobs, the rain 🌧 was back!!

We had a lovely relaxing day though, which is what the weekend is all about!

Now lets see your lovely Challenge Cards .....

Brenda

A brilliant card idea from Brenda for this weeks 'Patterned Paper ' Challenge.   We all need ideas for Man cards and this is a great example,  you have the added option of personalising the card by making the Map an area relevant to the recipient.

Brenda's Description:

Both backgrounds came from a pad I’ve had for ever called ‘life‘s journey’ the map was coloured, so I photocopied it on the cream card Selected black-and-white print then I aged the edges of the map with SU crumb cake."

Thanks so much Brenda for a inspirational Challenge card XXX

  1. Morning Ladies

What a fantastic selection of challenge cards today. I’m now thinking I could have made a Christmas card although I did run out of time .

We managed to get quite a bit a gardening done yesterday afternoon-worked through one shower, finished around 4:30 then not much after that there was heavy rain which continued all evening.

Not much planned for today-housework this morning then I’m hoping uk start re-organising my craft room.

The weather has been a bit hit and miss these last few days. Dry here at the moment but very grey, although the wind does seem to have dropped.
Nothing planned, other than finishing off a card and then relaxing.
Have a good day everyone. Hugs to all xxx

  8. Hi Sandra & ladies
A stunning array of cards on display today using patterned papers. I think I gave most of mine to Sandra when I was having a clear out.
It’s sunny here at the moment but windy. But I think we’re due some rain at some point. I see that Portugal is now off the 14 day quarantine list, so people are rushing to book holiday there now. We had 2 showers during the day yesterday, otherwise apart from being windy it wasn’t too bad. I finished off two cards yesterday and started another one. Must count up my Christmas cards and see how many more if any I need. I only send e cards to Australia now as the postage is to expensive. Gill also only sends me those as well.
Take care everyone & stay safe.

  11. Hello Sandra and ladies,

What an inspiring collection of challenge cards. As I was scrolling through them I kept saying to myself - why didn’t I think oh that idea. Yes truly inspiring ladies.

Lilian hope you got all of your plants planted on. Thank you for recommending Jersey Plants, I will take a look at them. I usually go to Thompson and Morgan, but think sometimes they are a bit expensive.
