xx Sue xx

Good Morning Ladies,

First of all I would like you all to join me in wishing our lovely Sue a Very Happy Birthday, I hope you have an amazing day whatever you have planned my lovely. xxx

Today's post features a video showcasing some of the new Stampin'Up! new catalogue goodies, it also shows you the new 2018-2019 'In Colours'.
I use the cards that I made last week to showcase the new goodies, there are some stunning new Designer Series Papers and lovely stamp sets too.
So if you have a few minutes I would really appreciate your support. x

While on the subject of Stampin'Up! if there are any stamp sets or packs of paper that you like please check my SU page as they could be on the 'Retiring List'.

There are also new products being added all the time to the Clearance Rack.

The link to my SU page is in the Contact tab at the top of the blog.

I will add it here to make it easier for you to access:

Thank you in advance for your time and patience, I promised not to keep pushing Stampin Up at all of you and I won't as thats not my style, I am however very passionate about it as the quality is amazing and well worth the money as I think that anyone that has bought their stamps would agree.
I also want to thank all of you that have supported me on this journey, it genuinely means the world to me that you would go to the trouble to support me. xxx

Normal posts will resume tomorrow ladies,

Have an amazing day Sue,

Love and hugs to all of you

Sandra

  1. Morning Ladies

Happy Birthday Sue-hope you have a lovely day today.

Sandra-I’ll watch the video tonight. We finally hit Home around 10pm last night after visiting my Father in Law-we had a message from M inL to say he was worse & could we go over to see him. He had deteriorated considerably since we saw him on Saturday night, very upsetting.

  2. Morning Everyone
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE - hoping you have a lovely day planned and that the sun shines for you.

MICHELE- I'm so sorry to hear that things aren't good with your FIL. You are all in my thoughts and prayers Dear Friend.

MARIA- good luck for today with the delivery of your new sofas. Sitting in sun loungers is definitely not good. Just think of the coming comfort lol.

My visit to the nurse to have my bloods taken went OK. For once my veins behaved themselves for her. I now have to wait until 24th May before I can go and see the Practice Nurse for the second half of my MOT.

I want to try and start my CC today! Well that's the aim.

The CAFE is OPEN ready and waiting for you all to pop in for a chat and a nice cuppa.

HUGS are on their way to you all with extras for any Dear Friends not feeling too well.xxxx

  3. Hi everyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY WITH LOTS OF TREATS.X

Thank you for your kind words for Harvey. He had an injection of antibiotics and more tablets to take. I must admit he's carrying on as normal whereas if I had that on my leg I'd be sitting with leg feeling very sorry for myself.

I get all my summer clothes out of the back room wardrobe at the weekend and as they were clean when I put them away, I just gave them a quick wash to refresh them. Now of course I have two mountains of ironing. I think it will take me all morning.

MARIA Bet you'll be happy when your new sofas arrive. Its not comfy sitting on sun loungers. Hope you're feeling a lot better.x

    Hugs to all poorly friends.
    Love Valx

    1. Hi Val. Thank you for your kind wishes. I'm glad that Harvey doesn't seem to be too worried about his leg. I have nearly finished the pile of summer clothes we need ready for next week. Its annoying how we have to freshen them.up then iron them all again. Each year I tell myself not to bother ironing them before I store them away and each year I iron them!!! We do some daft things don't we 😊 x

  4. Hi Sandra and ladies.
WISHING SUE A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎂. I HOPE YOU HAVE A LOVELY DAY. Hope my card arrives as I posted it in the postbox at the top of our road, plus it has to go through the dreaded Swindon sorting office. I’m sure there’s a gremlin in that postbox that eats all the Post I put in it. Or in the sorting office.
Hospital today for Pete. I must say I’m quite worried about him as I’ve never seen him how he is before. He just can’t do anything. Plus he doesn’t feel like eating, plus every drink he has tastes awful. Plus yesterday he was sick. He’s never been sick since I’ve known him.
He’s still on about planting potatoes if he can get some. But how he’s going to put them in the ground heaven only knows. Plus he wants to dig the ground first.
I wonder if we’ll see a Prof Prothero again today so we can get a handle on what happens next.

    3. Hi Pat, I’m sorry to hear Pete is not his usual self. It’s such a worry when so many things change at the same time and being sick pulls you down anyway. I hope you get to see Prof Prothero. Maybe the medication he is on is upsetting his system. You definitely need some answers. Take care and know we are here for you.xx

  6. Hello Sandra and ladies,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE - HOPE YOU HAVE A LOVELY BIRTHDAY XXX

Sandra thank you for the sneak peek at the new catalogue, I did have a quick look and will digest it all later. Have a great day with Sue. I wonder what mischief you two will get up to today....Enjoy xx

Janet - pleased half of your MOT went well, hope part two is as good xx

Val - Harvey sounds a really placid dog, I hope his leg improves quite soon. Like you, I would be needing to rest that leg. Sometimes I think animals are a lot harder than we are. XX
Maria - Hope the sofas arrive and you can snuggle into a soft seat again. xx

We have beautiful blue skies today, Yippee and the Sun is shining, it’s lovely and warm sitting here with the sun shining through the window. OH is out in the garden, I will venture out after lunch .... hopefully. It’s really is uplifting when we see a bit of sunshine - you never know we may have a dry bank holiday
    weekend. Fingers crossed .

Have a good day everyone, Hugs Brenda xxx

  8. We need to wait another 3 weeks to hear what the next stage of Petes treatment will be. Prof Prothero wasn’t in clinic today as he’s in America. He’s working with an American counterpart on testing biopsies to see if there’s a link between peoples Genes, DNA and Cancer. Their not to worried that Pete is feeling unwell. They’ll see what he’s like in 3 weeks.

Many happy returns of the day Sue, hope you had a lovely time with Sandra.

Just spent the day tidying up my craft room, trying to get ink stains off my table.

Great iTube video Sandra, things look lovely, gave it a thumbs up.

It doesn’t feel like May, it’s so cold here, hope it’s better for the weekend, we are going to London to see the family, if I’m up to the journey.

Hope you are all having a good day, hugs Lilian

  12. Good evening Sandra & ladies
SUE HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOPE YOU HAVE HAD A LOVELY DAY🎂🎉🎁💌 Dear friend. Hope you enjoyed your time with Sandra.
MICHELE so sorry to read your FIL has taken a turn for the worst. Thinking of you both & MIL my thoughts are with you all.
PAT sorry Pete isn't feeling very well hope he feels better very soon. Three weeks is a long Waite to see professor Pothreo .Take care Hug's for you both.
SANDRA thank you for sharing some of the new SU goodies all looks lovely looking forward to seeing new catalog. All your sample cards were gorgeous.
I had hospital appointment this morning to see a surgeon about my lower back & leg pain. The doctor I saw eight weeks ago with MRI results he said my spine was pressing on nerves causing the pain because of the muscle waisting on my lower left side. My appointment was for 9.15am didn't get to see him until 11.50am Anyway I have To Waite for appointment for a day case. A procedure under intravenous sedation so I will be asleep. A live x Ray guides the needle to the nerve root & inject corticosteroid & local anaesthetic is injected. I'm not looking forward to that.☹️
We got home at 2.45pm had some lunch CU went &a cut the grass so I went in craft room made CC &I lost all trace of time just playing.so dinner was late.
    Sending everyone Hug's
    Love Lynda xx

  13. Hi Lynda
I’m glad they found the root of your problem, and hopefully the injection will help.
Today was just for a catch-up and blood tests for Pete. However, Jackie who we normally see was tied up with another patient. Pete had just gone to ask what was happening when we were called in. We saw the Cancer Specialist Pharmacist we’ve seen before when Pete was on Enzalutamide. He was asked to see Pete before he started his afternoon shift in Oncology. Its really only 2 weeks before we see the Dr as Pete has his last Radium injection next week.
