Floral Friday

 Good Friday Morning,
A small card for me today, its like a DL size card but sideways.
I covered the card base with a double sided sticky sheet, peeled the backing off and the covered
it with Cosmic Shimmer Iced Snow. I cut two of the French Border Dies from the Creative Expressions French Corner, Border and Tag die set, designer by the genius that is Our Sue Wilson,
I used some Pinflair 3D Glue Gel to stick the borders to the base, while giving a little dimension!
I cut several of the Impression Obsession Leafy Branch Die and arranged them in the middle of my card, I then added some paper roses and some tiny white flowers and some little spray bits from Anna Marie Designs.  I stamped my sentiment and cut t out using the small die from Matting Basics Die set from the Californian Collection. A picture of it boxed below.
Quite a pretty little card, perfect for a thank you or maybe get well soon card.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
I wish you a very happy weekend, we best get started with Christmas shopping......urgh!
Crafty Hugs to all of you,
Sandra xxxx

  1. Good morning Sandra,
I love your slim card in the colours and design, it is stunning. The amount of leaves behind the flowers just helps to make the centre of this beautiful card and in its own box will protect it's beauty.
I only have 2 people still to get for and i'll give you a 3 guesses which sex they are, the same kind we have trouble making lovely cards for. Christmas food shopping will be done on line as normal as it is too long and tiring going around the shop. Crikey i am jiggered just by the time i manage to get into the front door, never mind go around the shop to see what i want or need. Sandra, getting the bulk of your groceries this way is a lot easier on people like you and me. Fruit and veg i have decided i must be fussy at picking because they always bring stuff that is ready there and then which is no use if it is for a week or so, so i now go and get that my self and then i have no one to blame bar myself. Have a lovely day flower,
    love and crafty hugs

  2. Morning hon.
This is beautiful. I appreciate its a very busy time of year, especially if you have lots of family and friends to buy and cater for. Im lucky in that respect, but also try to get at least one market/fair in if you can. Put the other behind you, you must put that down to life lessons, you WILL be a sucess next time. Have you thought about Mrs B's suggestion/advice ?
People need your stunning cards in their life.
    Have a good day.

  5. Sandra, this is gorgeous, and goes to show what can be done in a narrow space. Better you than me doing Christmas shopping I hate it, I am lucky this year as my three have asked if they could have money gifts, oldest daughter and partner are doing things in the cottage younger daughter they are planning a holiday, and their boys just want a x box game between them as a small gift to open, son and family are moving house on the 19th December, into a small rented house so the two grand daughters are getting small gifts to open and the money will be spent on things when the move into their new house, so it's going to be so easy and I'd rather give to what's needed. The fun won't be their but it's only one year. As for ourselves we are going to Canada again so we are taking that's into our Christmas gifts. Have a lovely weekend. Hazel x

  6. HI sandra
Love this slim card so glad you shared it with us. I am yet to start my Christmas shopping I need to get a move on. It would help if I knew what to buy. I don't do the food shopping as I can't carry so my wonderful Husband always gets the food. Good luck with your shopping.
