Your Spots & Stripes Challenge cards

Good Sunday Morning Ladies,

We had an hour in the garden yesterday afternoon,  I was just pottering as I didn't want to overdo things and not be able to enjoy Ally Pally today!  We (well Paul)  managed to get all the twigs etc picked up off the drive, it makes the house look less abandoned!  I did some dead heading, trimming back some of the perennials, they already have lots of new growth.   Its so lovely seeing to daffodils bobbing about in the sunshine too.  The rest of the day was spent relaxing in preparation for today, I can't wait to look and touch all the craft goodies, but I mostly looking forward to seeing my lovely Blog Family 😍 I must write a list on the way there, as I haven't done one so far, I never stick to my list anyway! Do any of us??

Let's have a look at your Dotty, Spotty & Stripey creations my lovelies....

Janet

Janet's Description:

Here are my offerings for this week's Challenge.

The box die is a TONIC set called 'DELICATE DECOR GIFT BOX'.
The Green stripe paper is also TONIC and the Spotty Craft Card is from a 6x6 pad in my stash..

Oh I love those Gift Boxes Janet, the papers you have used work so well with them too. Perfect for any occasion.   Thank you so much for taking part in this weeks challenge XXX

Karen

Karen's Description:

Here’s my cc for this week I was inspired by a sample card on TCS I used a different Tracy Evans stamp. Background is created by flicking gold and silver Posca pen.

Love the colours you have used Karen, that 'Galactic' background looks amazing. I'm not sure my Posca pen flicking could achieve such uniform tiny dots, I tend to end up with large splodge, that look like a bird has flown over 😳 🤣.
This would be a great 'Man' card.

Thank you so much for taking part in this weeks challenge Karen XXX

Lilian

Lilian's Description:

Here are my two cards for this, the stripes are the front cover of a paper pad, flowers are Tim Holtz.
The second card is Anne Marie spotty paper that I have had for years. The stamps are from Honey Doo stamps.

Wow Lilian two beautiful cards, what a clever idea using the cover of a paper pad as background, it really works,  you have coloured those Wildflowers beautifully, everything ties together perfectly.
I did get some of my Anne Marie Dotty card out to use for this Challenge but never got around to it, I have a huge collection!  I love how you have used it on your second card, I have that Honey Doo stamp too and struggle to know what to do with it, your card has really inspired me, thank you.
Thank you so much for taking part in this weeks challenge XXX

Maria

Maria used a die set that she won from Craft Stash a while ago to create this lovely Pop Up Box,  for some reason Maria is referring to it as a 'Prototype'  I think it is lovely,  the spotty flowers are lovely and the striped paper on the box works so well.  Thank you so much for taking part in this weeks challenge Maria.  Just think how lovely this would be as a gift for someone in hospital,  where they can't have actual flowers,  it would really brighten someone's day. XXX

Sonia

Sonia's Description:

"I used Endless Circles stamp from AALL and Create, and part of the Rota Vitae stencil. I used tumbled glass and milled lavender distress inks. Tim Holtz butterfly in the same colours as well as the little punched flower. The sentiments are from LOTV."

Oh Sonia I love your card, that beautiful shade of blue works perfectly with the lilac,  they are soft shades that are strong enough to highlight the different elements of the stamped image. That stencil is stunning Sonia, that will be added to my shopping list!  I wonder if anyone will have it today??
Thank you so much for such an inspirational Challenge card my lovely XXX

Sue

Sue used some Wood Effect card that she bought from Limetree Crafts for the background of her card,  brilliant idea 💡 for 'stripes ' !  That Happy Birthday with all the tools in and around it is absolutely fantastic!! What an amazing Man card, its perfect for 'Pops' Sue.  I love the little finishing touches of bits ilog wood and wood slices.

Your two Banner Cards are so lovely,  they work perfectly for this Challenge with the spots and stripes!!
Look at you showing off witth 3 Challenge cards!! 😜
Thank you so much for taking part and creating such a fantastic selection of cards my lovely XXX
