Mixed up Saturday

Good Saturday Morning Ladies,

Janet I hope you are having a great journey and that your crossing was smooth.

Today I am excited to share the cards that you all made using the butterfly stamp.  Janet I have stamped some for you too,  if you would like to have a go.

They are all absolutely amazing,  I love when we all take part in a joint project,  I have to say a HUGE thank you to Our Karen for suggesting we all have a go at this particular Jo Rice card.  Maybe we could all do another one, let me know your thoughts.
Thank you so much to all of you for joining in XXX

Craft Shopping

Lilian's Shopping

Lilian's Description:

"Here is my shopping for this week, the fabric is from Tim Holtz. Just fell in love with the colours."

Oh Lilian I agree with you, that Tim Holtz Fabric is amazing and you can really pick out some of the really popular colours.  It would make a lovely journal cover, you could then carry the colours on through the pages.
I love those Aall & Create stamps, the poppy is beautiful. Iced Spruce is a great colour and I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the Villainous Potion.  Thank you so much for sharing your shopping with us XXX

Cheryl's Shopping

Cheryl has outshopped us all !!! You have some lovely  Halloween stamps,  I bet Milly-May loved playing with those.  What a fantastic box of SU stamps, all for £35 thats an amazing bargain!!
Finally a lovely range of Dies and Stamps from John Lockwood to Pink Ink, so much to play with.  Thank you so much for sharing your shopping Cheryl XXX

My Shopping

I ordered the new Villainous Potion in Distress and Distress Oxide inks, I have been using my original Distress inks more and more lately,  incredibly they are still full of ink, some of them are 7 years +, unlike my Versafine Clair that has barely lasted a year!!  Now onto the A&C stamps,  I have seen some lovely Christmas cards made using the Pinecone stamp I bought last week and this Blackbird stamp, the leaf stamp I have seen some lovely little elements to add to cards made with this stamp and the Ready Reckoner stamp is a Tracy Evans staple.
I look forward with having a play with this little lot.

I wish you all a nice Saturday and that aches and pains are at a minimum. I taken some stronger ones this morning for we are going to SIL's youngest daughter to see their new house and BBQ. Step-son was meant to come up this weekend to be with us all and to have a chance to see his cousins but because of the reports of Covid cases going up he decided not to travel. We all have booked to go away in January, not sure what we do yet....

  3. Hi Sandra and all in the Cafe today. This is a great saying and oh so true 😀
Sandra I’m glad you and Paul had a lovely time up in town. And I hope you aren’t suffering with too much extra “how dare you enjoy yourself” pain my lovely. I was thinking of Paul and his interview yesterday and sending him good luck wishes xx
Karen, I have seen (on video) the same version of Cin(Sin)derella as you 🤭🤣🤭🤣 I hope Oscar is ok after his fall the other day xx
I didn’t realise I had missed the last three days here on the blog! Not sure where the time went but Mum and Pop are doing as well as possible. Lovely cards and some great shopping ladies. I must admit I do like Kraft card and I need to get a good white ink pad as they are a perfect match, especially for Christmas cards.
I hope you all are having a good day.
Janet, wishing you and Jim a safe and uneventful journey to your special place xx
The wind and rain had cleared but seems to be picking up again as the afternoon goes by! Sending love and hugs to you all with extras for all in need. Take care xx

  4. Hello, it’s chilly and very overcast here today.

As you have all said the saying is so true, so next week’s challenge should be a walk in the park for me, I have so much stuff waiting to be used.

Loved working with you all doing the butterfly card, maybe we could do one every few weeks, it makes me feel as though I’m with you when you all meet up.

Love everyone’s shopping, wow Cheryl that’s some lovely things you have to use.

Just waiting for R to get home, he has been to Stroud for a meeting today.

    Have a good evening ,Lilian
